There were eyes, cold blue ones.
Hands which pulled at her clothes, threw her to the ground.
Pain as her tights tore; her knees meeting asphalt.
Words shouted in anger.
Her eyes burned with unshed tears, lips tried to plead for mercy.
The sound of a zipper.
Her tights pulled roughly away.
Skirt pushed over her back.
Hands gripped her hips.
PAIN!
Someone was screaming.
Throat raw,
Hand clamping over mouth.
Muffled.
The screamer was her.
Left panting,
Clothes tattered,
In pain,
Unable to walk.
Hatred.
Anger.
Fear.
Pain.

She awoke with a start, surprised to find herself in her own warm bed, instead of that cold, wet alleyway. Feeling warmth beside her, she reached over and touched warm soft skin, not cold concrete, and she remembered the declarations of love both had made the night before, remembered the gentle way he had made love to her, images coming back in soft flashes. She smiled and knew that this was the way it was meant to be.
Soft.
Sweet.
Gentle.
Loving.
Still smiling, she settled into his arms burying her face into his chest. He moaned a little in his sleep and tightened his arms around her, murmuring her name. Her eyes closed. The nightmares were over; they wouldn't be back.
