Summary Ever wondered why Inuyasha always wears baggy pants?

It was a sunny day in the feudal era. The birds were singing, the breeze was gently blowing, and the trees blew gently in the updraft.
NOT!
All lies aside, it was pretty miserable out. The rain blew hard against Kagome's bare legs as the Inuyasha gang made their way down the main road to the next village.
'Why do I always wear this skirt?' she pondered to herself.
"Why do you always wear such flimsy apparel Kagome?" Miroku asked as if reading her thoughts. "It must be quite chilly for you-
But he never got to finish his thoughts, b/c a huge monkey demon jumped out from behind a nearby...shrubbery. (A/n: I recently watched Monty Python and the Holy grail. Lines like this are not my fault.)
"I am the almighty Saruki! The monkey lord! Bow down before me, pitiful lowlifes!" the odd monkey demon yelled.
However, since the wind was howling, the only words Inuyasha could make out were 'pitiful lowlifes'. As you can probably imagine, this did not go over very well with the now soaking wet dog demon.
"You're so dead! Eat this!" Inuyasha yelled as he jumped up rapidly. "Wind scar!"
The monkey lord threw his now present sickle chain in a wide arc around Inuyasha's side.
As Inuyasha bent over to complete his move, he felt something from behind.
"RRRRIIIIIPPP"
Sure enough, the monkey's blade had cut a rather large hole down his back.
"CRAAPP!" he groaned.
"So that's why your clothes are so baggy!" Kagome shouted to him while almost guffawing herself to death.
The entire group broke down into hysteric laughter as Inuyasha became increasingly red.
And sure enough, in the center of the gash, a small white tuft of hair stuck out of his backside.
A tail!
