I failed. At least that's what the voice in my head was saying. I failed him as a partner, as a friend, as a lover. I started crying mid sentence and sure enough I was being picked up bridal style and carried into his apartment. "Finish getting undressed" he said tossing me a tee shirt, " I'll be right back" I stripped down to my panties which we're soaking wet so I threw them across the room laughing as they landed on Dicky's picture.
