Briseis crept back to the Greek camp in the dead of night. It was half way through the funeral games, but she needed to see Achilles.

"Why did you want?" Briseis asked.

"You did not fear me." Achilles said sitting up.

"Why do you still want me?" She asked.

"Because you are like me, and never want to give up." He stood and began to move closer to her. "Now, why are you here?"

"I had to see you again. Go home. There is nothing left of ours to take." Briseis said.

"But that would be without you. I don't believe I could do that," he paused, wondering if he should tell her about the plan to attack Troy. He decided he would tell her. "If Troy is attacked, I will make sure that you make it out sa-"

"I know the way out of Troy, I could do that myself, and I don't need your help." He was right in front of her when she spoke.

"Do you always want to quarrel?" Before she could answer Achilles took her shoulders in his arms and crushed his mouth to hers. Briseis relaxed into the kiss and let it over power her.

When they broke he whispered, "If anything should happen, I will find you. We can go together. Now go back to your home before they find you gone. No one should die for us." He led her to the entrance to his dwelling.

"I will try to find you as well." She said before they kissed for a final time and she slipped back into the night.
