Author's Note: Welcome to my ninth fanfic, Revised: Winx Club Eternix Part 1. I've written the original fanfic series during the summer of 2010. It was my first fanfic that I've created and finished and I'm very happy with the piece. Unfortunately, it became a challenge to write the sequel. I had a major roadblock with the sequel that caused me to do this fanfic. Re-reading the original again, I found a lot of spelling, grammar errors, punctuation, plot holes and weak detailing within the original.
"Revised: Winx Club Eternix Part 1" will match some of the original plot/theme, characters and general ideas, but will defer greatly with detail, length, subplots, characterization and the properties of Eternix. There will be more chapters within this one than the original. Also, the revised story will follow seasons 1-4 of Winx Club plus The Secrets of the Lost Kingdom. disregarding the Harmonix/Sirenix season, Mythix/Bloomix season and Tynix/Butterflix season as well as the Magical Adventure and Mystery of the Abyss movies and any other new Winx developments post season 4. I may or may not add or talk about characters that appear in the series post season 4 but they will no way shape or form be an integral part of this fanfic and most of their canon background will be subjected to changes when they appear.
I do not own Winx Club. Winx Club belongs to Iginio Straffi, Viacom and Rainbow srl. The Winx club characters, Specialists characters, the Trix and other minor characters all belong to the names above with the exception of several of my OCs that will appear in the fanfic. This fanfic was only created for entertainment purposes and in high regards to the people above.

Revised: Winx Club Eternix Part 1 Chapter 1: A New Beginning
The beaches of Gardenia outside the gray city filled up with the residence of the area and people out of town –no end of beach umbrellas and towels lying on the yellow sand. Most came for the beautiful warm weather, soaking up the last days of summer vacation before classes begin and others came to see the magical occurrences that plagued the town for the past month. Business on and by the beach opened early to take advantage on the day, except the Fruitti Music Bar. Klaus would've been mad for losing business on a perfect day like this, but an important event was approaching his family. His shop would open up later in the day, but for now he was still in his home in the suburbs, where the grass shined emerald green from the dew drops of the night. Klaus grabbed his new camera and cleaned the lens in the kitchen, waiting for his daughter to head downstairs.
This August morning Roxy packed her last suitcase for her year at Alfea College for Fairies. The sixteen-year-old recently got accepted to Alfea and decided now she'd leave her human life behind to become a full-fledged fairy. "Roxy, you will do great at Alfea. You will get to meet all different people there and trust me; you will have the experience of your life." Bloom told Roxy, excited after she decided to take the next step. "You'll master your powers, meet great professors."
"And you'll definitely meet a Red Fountain hottie!" Stella joked.
And all of what her friends had said made her more ecstatic for the school year that she woke up early, fixing her suitcase and knapsack over and over, double and triple guessing if she had everything she needed while Artu curled up outside her room door. He trod back in after Roxy zipped her knapsack and green suitcase close for what sounded like the last check of her supplies. The tan short-haired dog sat by Roxy's right leg, his head bowing down to the carpet.
"Artu," Roxy said. It'll be nearly six weeks before she could visit during break. Until then her Dad and Morgana would keep in company, sometimes the Winx during their shop ours. He licked her right hand. Roxy petted Artu, kissed the dog on the forehead to ease his whimpering.
Knock, knock. "Can I come in?" Morgana asked behind the door, two-thirds opened. The former queen entered the room with a warm smile, wearing her red short-sleeve top and capris. She petted Artu. "How is everything? Are you okay," She said to Roxy while looking at Artu.
"Yes…Morgana. I'm ready, but Artu..."
Morgana smiled at the dog. "Don't worry about him. Klaus and I will keep him company while you're at Alfea. We're waiting for you down stairs."
"…I'll be down in a moment." Morgana gave her daughter another smile before she left the bedroom. Roxy waited for the door lock shut and the shadows under it vanished to take deep breath in. She sat on her computer chair, buried her face in her hand and rubbed her forehead. The day she received her acceptance letter she rushed her packing now the anticipation became fear. Roxy debated on asking her best friend how he'd feel without her for a few months, her excuse for not using her abilities to communicate fell between her excitement for Alfea and worry for his response. Artu nipped on her shoe buckle and Roxy dropped her hands. "I won't be gone long. By the vacation weeks, we'll catch up like I haven't left." The dog barked.
Roxy slid her knapsack through her arms on her shoulders and gripped the handle of her suitcase. She left her bedroom and Artu following her from behind. Approaching down to the last stair, she saw her father with a camera in his hands and her mother with the same smile she had from before. The Winx were there as well, sharing in on Roxy's parting.
Klaus took a picture of his daughter. The flash of the device blurred Roxy's eyes. "My daughter's growing up," he said, "first, I lose six of my waiters, then my best smoothie girl."
"Dad..." Roxy said face flushed in embarrassment. Bloom smiled at Klaus's sentimental words, sharing a closely similar departure to Alfea. She hugged her father and mother, longer than she intended and pulled back before she got teary-eyed. She turned to her friends, telling them she was
Bloom walked over to Roxy and clutched her hands into Roxy's hands. The red-headed girl's loose blue, red and white fairy dust sprinkled on Roxy's hands, making them tingle with warmth. The six changed into their Zoomix wings. The six fairies interlocked in hands leaving Aisha's left hand and Bloom's right hand for Roxy's hands to take hold. When she held on, pink magical energy in a sparkling form emitted from the six fairies. After a bright light the seven females left the living room, leaving no detail of their exit.

A new school year was approaching for the Alfea College for Fairies. Some students scrambled from the shuttle buses that came from Magix while others were chauffeured from cars to the white winged shaped doors of Alfea. The doors dropped in a cascade to the ground, revealing the bright pink-lavender castle with muted blue roofs and shimmering windows. The students walked on the green fields of the lavish school and waited for their designated instructor. You could tell by the enthusiasm of girls' faces who was a freshman to whom was a senior.
Roxy and the Winx reached the school in time just before the freshman introduction, always held by Headmistress Faragonda and Vice-Principal Griselda. The Winx followed to the crowd of young fairies conducted by Griselda. The seven girls stood in the back of the crowd, unnoticed by Griselda and the freshman fairies. The strict vice was in the middle of her casual rants of the school.
Griselda pointed her index figure at the crowd of freshmen, startling the few in front of her point. "All of you fairies are the lucky ones that have been chosen by thousands of applicants across the dimensions to attend this magnificent school that only houses 500 students. You girls should be more than over joyed to be accepted to Alfea College for fairies, the top rated school for fairies with the highest graduation rate, the best teachers in the dimensions, the largest library resource across Magix.
And as much pride and esteem you girls have to attend this school, I want to see all of you represent this school. I will not hesitate to give you girls detention, suspend or expel any trouble makers if you break any rules." The short haired brunette caught her eye on the Winx from the back of the freshman crowd. She paused from her talk. "Come over here." She motioned the seven fairies.
The freshman crowd turned to the Winx. They were the freshman's idols, most of the girls attended this institution solely to meet the girls and to one day in their own dreams partake in their adventures like the upperclassmen. The girls gawked at the Winx louder and more vibrant than the months before from their feats in the past. Stella, eager to sign some autographs, was pulled from the ocean of hyped freshmen by Musa. As the girls reached to Griselda, the woman glanced up and down at the seventh fairy. The crowd murmured at the sight of the freshman fairy from Earth. "I hope you don't assume that you will get special treatment." Griselda turned to the rest of the students. "After the short tour of the school, either head to your assigned rooms or enjoy our festivities. Tomorrow your magic evaluation exams will begin to determine you rank and which classes to place you in!"
Stella placed her hands on her hips telling the new students that the vice-principal was a blowhard. "Ladies don't let her demeanor fool you. Ms. Griselda's has a larger bark than bite."
Griselda pushed her glasses further in up the bridge of her nose. "This girl, students, is the sun fairy Stella. Jokes aside, she was the fairy that caused the destruction of the West Wing Potionology class room. The mess was so big, the room was out of commission for two terms and even then she'd find something else to wreck."
"For the last time, it was an accident!" Stella yelled. Some of the freshmen laughed.
Griselda joined in the humor and grinned. Although she and the rest of the Winx were a pain as far as disciplinary, they were good students. The tour followed along through the classrooms and corridors, without Faragonda usual speech. Bloom and Stella chimed in, mimicking Faragonda's vocal tone and posture as they briefed the freshmen on the school for Witches and the school for heroes. "Remember ladies, whether you're seeking a knight in shining armor or a prince, Red Fountain has all the flavors of your choosing."
"Or if you just wanna go to their festivals." Musa butted Stella out of the way. The blonde stuck her tongue out and the group laughed. Later Griselda finished her tour and the student's dispersed to their rooms, student activities or to the cafeteria for brunch. "Headmistress Faragonda's expecting girls in her office."
Bloom raised her eyebrow. "Did she say why?"
"It's not for me to say." Griselda tapped Roxy's shoulder. "Your time would be better spend with your fellow freshmen."
Bloom turned over to the Animal Fairy. "We'll stop by your dorm latter before we leave back to Earth." Bloom gave Roxy a hug before she and the rest of the Winx head to the Headmistress's office.

Loose papers covered the floor along the Headmistress's desk, stacks of text piled up the walls of the room and a few books open on the desk and the floor. The bustle came from the resident librarian. Barbetea picked up several books from the left side of the office on her cart to be sent back to the library and replaced them with books from the lower section of her cart to the right side of the room. Behind the desk was Faragonda's chair turned towards the window, her white hair and ruffled sleeve sticking out from the side. Barbetea greeted the Winx in her normal frantic manner, hurrying to place the last few materials on her cart and made her way out.
It was as if Barbetea took the noise with her when she left. A page turned was left in the silent room as the Winx stood. The six exchanged looks on whom to say the first word. "What's up, miss F," Stella said sharply to grab the headmistress's attention. Musa nudged her and the rest share an annoyed look. The blonde shrugged in defense.
The chair rotated to the girls revealing the Headmistress with a greater amount of tired than usually. Her eyes were baggy and slightly hollow, her white hair in place but frizzy and her clothes were a bit disheveled.
"Are you okay, Headmistress Faragonda?" Flora asked.
"Very fine, Flora." Faragonda yawned." Usually it gets stressful during this time with all the new students entering Alfea." Faragonda stood up slowly, adjusting her gloves. "How is Roxy doing?"
"Settling in. We dropped her off not too long ago," Bloom said.
"That's good." Faragonda walked to the left side of the table making her way to the Winx. A large book was in her hands— the front and back cover's brown leather skin was torn and spine was loose. The leather binding of the book oxidized to the point fading its color and what seemed to be text and engravings were hard to decipher. The pages from the edges were uneven, frayed and ivory-colored. Tecna asked in curiosity what the headmistress what holding. With hesitation in her voice she asked the young women to sit.
"I know you six have done a great deal of work on Earth that had resulted to someone's condition. I feel the greatest amount of sorrow for his loss. When I found this material during your adventures on Earth, the ideas in it were unnecessary for the six of you to need and I didn't want to trouble you all with this after all that have happened and the future in store of all of you…but part of me feels as if it could be very useful...to awaken him." The girls knew what she was talking about Nabu. The magician sacrificed himself to save the Earth fairies from the wrath of the Black circle. The result of Nabu absorbing the dark energy through his staff placed the young man into a comatose. The Winx called upon the third Gift of Destiny to revive Nabu, but Ogron had stolen it and revive a white lily in spite.
After the threat on Earth was over, the Winx and the Terrestrial fairies tried their best spells and magic on Nabu, none came close awakening him. Not even fairy dust, the strongest magical energy against dark magic, worked. Aisha tried daily on him, but nothing changed and the others avoided talk about what transpired. The wave fairy looked down to her nails on her lap, the other Winx thought with a heavy heart what the headmistress was plotting.
"I do not want to lead you girls astray from your plans on Earth, both you shop and your careers so this idea comes from a small shred of chance if it is true and it that is the case, if this is possible. However, you six young women have done the impossible before and this, I hope, will be the final testament to your powers."
Aisha stood up. She didn't want any more disappointing results and rollercoaster ideas of hope. She gave up the idea that Nabu would be in her arms in the near future and that Nabu might end up passing away during the forever sleep. Everyone's eyes were on her as she excused herself from the conversation and mentioned she'd be with Roxy, helping her unpack.
"I'm sorry if this information sounds too good to be true, but something about this and the evidence feels real enough to discuss with you all. I will no longer tell you any information about this...unless you girls are interested on hearing more and I do respect if you ladies don't want to hear any more of my talk." She walked to the direction of her stain-glass door and turned the knob. "If you do change your mind… let me now.
"I have to attend to the freshmen students; I know Griselda will have my head for leaving me alone with them. Excuse me ladies." Faragonda left her office with the Winx girls in a state of surprise and confusion.
Author's note: The original Eternix chapter 1 did not include the first part of Roxy leaving to Alfea or the part of her going to the freshman orientation. The part of the Winx finding out from Faragonda about this "new power" was edited and somewhat condensed in dialogue as well as the name of it Eternix was never mentioned within the dialogue. The original title was called "Winx Eternix" while this one is called "A New Beginning." This chapter was on the somber side compared to the original which was a little on the casual hype of a Winx Club adventure. Anyways, I hope you guys stick around for the next chapter.
