Till the End of Time.

Years had taken their toll on Scott his hair was silver now and lines creased his face, lines from years of worry and anxiety. Years of risking his life and the life of others had made him older; they had chipped away at his youth like sand on paint.

This morning he lay curled the sun falling over his still slim and muscular body with his arms tossed carelessly around Logan's neck. Logan opened his eyes to gaze at his lovers sleeping face. Even after 47 years Scott was as beautiful to him this morning as he was when they first met. Scott stirred under Logan's affectionate gaze, he started to disentangle his arms from around Logan's neck and Logan kissed his head setting his sun glasses on his face.

"Morning, Slim."

"Morning, Logan." Scott murmured groggily opening his eyes and kissing his lover.

"Happy birthday."

Scott sighed heavily and rolled on his back, "65 years old… God I've gotten old." Logan smirked and pulled Scott close to his chest and nipped him playfully, "65's not old Slim."

Scott twisted in Logan's arms and ran his callused hands over Logan's smooth face, "you don't look a day over 30."

Logan laughed in the back of his throat at Scott's comment and kissed Scott deeply, rolling Scott on to his back and towering over his lover. Scott ran his fingers through the hair on the back of Logan's neck. Logan had changed little over the last 47 years, he trimmed his sideburns to make them more fashionable, and he had traded most of his flannel shirts for t-shirts but for the most part he was still the same, same sharp eyes, same face, same body, same voice, same energy.

"People look at us funny." Scott murmured unhappily as Logan stooped to kiss Scott's neck.

"Fuck 'em." Logan growled in Scott's ear, the sound of Logan's growl still sent a shiver up Scott's spine. Logan kissed Scott's neck tenderly and nibbled on his ear lobe. Scott moaned softly. Logan was intoxicating; it was almost embarrassing how much Logan affected him. Even in passing Logan could still bring a wave of heat to Scott's cheek bones.

Logan was still sexy, still young, still carelessly tossing time the middle finger. People still turned their heads to look at Logan, still flirted with him when they went out; Students still had crushes on him. Scott was pulled out of his thoughts when Logan breathed out of his nose in frustration.

"You know I love you don't you?" Logan murmured in Scott's ear, "For all the shit that's changed my love for you hasn't."

Scott sighed and kissed Logan laying his head back and allowing himself to be washed away in Logan's undying passion.

Author's Note: This little one shot was brought about by a conversation that me and my boyfriend had he turns to me one night over out Chinese take out and says:

"Hey, you're a massive nerd right?"

"I would like to think of myself as a comic book enthusiast."

He laughed at me at this point and nodded, "Right, I'm sorry. So about Wolverine, he can't age right?"

"He ages very slowly."

"Same thing really, so if Scott and Logan were any real sort of relationship for any real period of time Scott would get old and Logan would pretty much stay the same right?"

"For the most part, yes."

"SO, what would that be like?"

So that got me thinking, and when I think it is a dangerous thing. I ended up writing this piece… it's not terribly good but I like the idea a lot.
