Preface

Cries filled the room as a new baby was born to the sea. Davy Jones looked down upon his daughter and a single tear slid down his face. They took her left arms and then placed the hot "P" shaped iron on her wrist. Cried filled the room and the little baby twitch in Calypso's arms as the little baby was forever branded a pirate.

The man was looking at the house from a distance and waved his hand to alert his crew. They started to raid the house and found no one in it. Calypso cradled her baby into her chest and tried to keep her from crying. The little baby soon began to cry and alerted the pirates. They followed the cries to a closet in the bedroom and open the door. They found Calypso and her baby hiding and ripped the baby from her arms.

"No," Calypso cried as she tried to reach for her little bundle of joy. The pirates then held her back and held a dagger up to the little infant and threatened to kill the baby.

"Please don't take her," Calypso cried. They took the end of a pistol and knocked her out as they left taking everything that was valuable and the little infant.

Calypso woke up to the sound of Davy Jones' cries. She looked up upon him with tears in her eyes. Davy Jones looked down upon his loved one and noticed her crying. "They took her. They took our little girl," Calypso cried. The face on Davy Jones turn even grimmer as he heard that his only child was taken away from him. He would soon have to go back to the Flying Dutchman for another ten years, and in those ten years he would search the seven seas for his daughter.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

The Governor open the door and found no one in front of him. He looked around and then to the ground and saw a little baby girl. He immediately took the infant into the house and gave the baby to the maid.

Not too far away little Elizabeth woke up and went down stairs to see what was the commotion. She walked into the kitchen and noticed that a little baby was sitting on a chair. Since the maid was nowhere in sight the young Elizabeth took the little baby and cared for the baby herself. She was holding the little baby and noticed something on the wrist of the baby. It was the letter "P" burned on her wrist. The young Elizabeth gashed and then promised herself that she wouldn't let anyone know of the baby's mark. She vowed that she would always take care of the young child and not let anyone find out that her family were pirates.

"Elizabeth what are you doing up at this late hour," her father asked coming into the room.

She turned around and then said, "I heard something and came down to check and found a baby. Can we keep her father? I'll take care of her." He father looked surprised and then nodded yes because the likely hood of finding the baby's parents were slim. The young Elizabeth squealed with joy and then began to go upstairs.

"Wait Elizabeth what are you going to call her if you are taking care of her," he father called her. This question stopped her in her tracks. What was to be her name? She thought about it for a little bit and then took her two favorite names and then answered, "Isabella Marie Swann." He father smiled in approval and then let her continue her way up the stairs.

Elizabeth then laid the baby down and watched over her while she slept. Isabella would become her little sister she always wanted. Little did she know that Isabella would betray her one day.
