What if Percy Jackson (from the book) suddenly became Percy Jackson (from the movie)? Read and find out!
Percy's POV
(This takes after the Battle of the Labyrinth. Just thought I'd let you know! XD)
Being a demigod is harder than it seems. Sure, killing monsters, using cool weapons, and meeting mythical creatures may seem awesome and all that crap, but it's just another side to a story.
Demigod life sucks. And I speak from experience. When I was twelve, I got attacked by the Minotaur. Then, I find out that my grandfather wants to take over the world. On top of that, the mother of the girl that I love literally wants to kill me. But out of all the happened or will ever happen, nothing was aver as weird or as mind-boggling as what happened to me.
It all started after dinner. I just entered my cabin, locked the door, and tried to rest. Earlier that day, Annabeth and I had been training, so I was incredibly tired. But before my head even reached the pillow, I searing pain erupted in my head. I tried to get to the door, and hopefully make out to the big house and ask Chiron for help, but no such luck. Before I passed out from the pain, I had time to think, why?
When I woke up, I was in school.
A couple of teens were in the class with me, about sixteen or seventeen years old(give or take) and were looking at the teacher, but they were obviously not listening. The teacher in front was discussing all about Shakespeare's Othello (Shakespeare wrote that, right?) and stuff that I didn't even care about, but that wasn't important. What was more important was how I even got in there.
"Good morning." She started. "I'm Miss Dodds, your substitute English teacher. Would someone
this question, given that my dyslexia is acting worse than before. "I don't know." I finally decided.
Miss Dodds? She doesn't even look like that. And is it a coincidence that this Miss Dodds is also a substitute English teacher? I asked myself, but please explain what Shakespeare was trying to convey in this line from Othello?" then she looked pointedly at me. "Percy Jackson?"
I looked at the board. But I already knew that I had no chance of answering I had no idea.
"Anybody else?" she asked in a cold voice.
After that class, I hurriedly went home, or what I guessed would be the address of my home. Thank the gods, it was still the same.
"Mom?" I called.
"Over here honey." She called back, but somehow, her voice seemed different.
I entered the living room, but what I saw almost made me faint. She was not my mother!
I pointed to her. "Who are you?"
She was taken aback by my sudden question. "Percy, wha-what are you talking about?"
"Where's my mother?"
She looked like me like I just dropped from Mars. "Percy, it's me, Sally. Your Mother."
Then I fainted.
A/N: Short chapter, I know, but don't kill me! This is the most importanti chapter in the whole story. Just read and tell me if i should continue!
