Surprised?

A "Toko" story ;)

~`~`A:TLA is not mine! Sadly `~`~

Zuko laid in bed soundlessly, sleeping away all of his worries. But, sadly, that peacefulness ended when he woke to Toph, his girlfriend of 3 years, climbing into his bed a 4:25 am. Toph had no clue he was awake. She slowly made her way to the pillow when a hand grabbed her wrist.

"What.. are you doing?" The young man asked tiredly.

Her eyes became large. "Getting back in bed Babe, urm, what else?" She was sooo busted.

"Why did you leave? You left at like, 2:00.. What were you doing?" Zuko became wide awake suddenly. The young woman froze. She heard him asking her again but she didn't respond. Then she heard it.

"Toph.. are you cheating on me?"

"NO! I would never!"

Zuko made a face, "Then, what were you doing?

" Um.. well.. It's a secret!" She said happily "Yeah, can't tell you!"

"I tell you everything Toph, I love you. Why can't you tell me?" He yelled angrily.

"Because! You can NOT find out." Toph then realized how that sounded. "Well I me-'' she was cut off by her boyfriend. "REALLY? Wow Toph, sounds to me like cheating. Good friggin' night." He was pissed. Zuko go off the bed and felt her hand grab his bare arm. "NO TOPH. Until you can tell me what you were doing, I'm out." The black haired young man yanked his arm back and walked out of his room and into another. He grabbed his phone out of the pocket of his Asking Alexandria ball shorts and looked at the time. 4:30 am. He felt a tear run down his face. 'What man was she with.. and why on my birthday morning.?' He slowly slid under the guest-room blankets and fell asleep after 30 minuets of crying..

`Morning Time~

Toph walked out of Zuko's room with his ADTR shirt that swallowed her, his Family Guy boxers, her thick rimmed glasses on, and her long, black hair in a high ponytail that came down to the center of her back. Her face was red, puffy, and tear stained. She walked down the stairs to see her love standing in front of her masterpiece. Birthday get-up was everywhere, balloons, signs, confetti, and a present on the table in the kitchen. Everything she worked on last night.

She looked at Zuko's back, then she said in a raspy, sad, and strand voice. "Surprised?" Zuko turned around and looked wide eyed at her.

"Is this what you were doing last night?.."

"Yeah.."

He never ran to anyone faster in his life. He kissed her, on the lips, with extreme passion.

"I'm so sorry Love, forgive me?" he whispered. He voice made her body shiver.

"You're forgiven" She answered "Now, go open your present. He did as he was told and opened the box to find another, and another, and so on and so on until he reached a box the size of his palm. He look at her funny, she laughed. Zuko opened the box and found a ring. Then he heard,

"You never asked so I will. Zuko Michael Kasai, Will You Marry Me?"

"Hell..Yes.."
