Okay, so on my Instagram accounts { city_of_tmi_tid and my_hunger_games_fans } I sometimes post character letters and plot twists, so I thought I would post them on here? They are all one-shots and if you don't like them, I will take them down :/ at the moment I'm just doing Hunger Games ones :)
WHAT IF?
Katniss never thought about eating the Nightlock. She and Peeta decided to hide in the woods - the Gamemakers would have to take them home eventually.
But Seneca Crane wanted his victor. He sent one more of the dog mutations. It came after the star-crossed lovers. When it found them, it attacked Peeta. He was weaponless and urged Katniss to shoot the mutt. But when Katniss saw the dog's eyes, she couldn't let the arrow fly.
Peeta was killed and Katniss was crowned the victor of the 74th Hunger Games. She had to go back to Twelve and face Peeta's family, unable to explain why she couldn't kill the mutt and save him. They wouldn't have understood.
The mutt had Gales eyes.
