And so begins my second one-page story. This one stars Sylvester as well, but this time with his son, Sylvester Jr.

Another Day, Another Try
"Alright son," began Sylvester, showering his son with spittle, beginning the mouse-catching lesson. "We will now start our lesson. Catching and eating the mouse."
"Oh boy," Sylvester Jr. said unenthusiastically after throwing away the umbrella he used to protect himself from his father's spit. "This will be fun."
Sylvester didn't hear him as he bent down to the mouse hole where his "arch"enemy lived. Sylvester Jr. folded his arms and smirked as he watched his father move his arm around inside. 1..2..3 he counted silently. And sure enough, Sylvester yowled and jumped in the air, holding his finger, which now was caught in a mouse trap. Howling laughter could be heard inside the hole.
"Oh Father," Sylvester Jr. sighed. Sylvester smiled sheepishly and pointed to his trapped finger with his free hand. Sylvester Jr. sighed again. "Here goes nothing."
With that. Sylvester Jr. placed his er...paws on the spring with trapped his father's finger, and pulled with all his might. When that didn't work, he put his feet up against Sylvester's belly, and pulled there. Sylvester too tried, and fortunately, they finally got the trapped finger out. Unfortunately, the momentum of the force they used made both felines get thrown to the wall. They both fell, leaving cracks and pieces of dust and concrete fall also. Sylvester's finger was red, bulgy, and pulsing, Sylvester Jr. noticed. Dusting himself off, Sylvester Jr. smirked at seeing the stars spin around his father's head.
"Oh well," Sylvester said, stumbling to his son, nearly falling on the way. "Tomorrow we'll try again."
"Yessiree Dad," Sylvester Jr. said, winking at the mouse who winked back, both of them already knowing what will happen. "Another day, another try."
