ONE TREE HILL : "When Lucas Chose Peyton"

As always I own nothing …
That day Lucas realized he had a tough decision to make; Lindsey or Peyton. He could only be with one woman and he knew who he wanted to be with. Only one person had always been there for him.
"Hi Peyton, it's me."
"Hi you".
"I've come to realize something today." He started.
"What's that?".
"I miss you!" he said.
"Aww I miss you too!".
"I mean, I really do… I love you!" he quietly said.
Peyton couldn't believe it. Did I hear him well? She wondered.
"You don't know how much it means to me to hear you say that!" she said, "Since the day you proposed to me and I wasn't ready I haven't stopped regretting the way things went. I haven't stopped missing you, missing being with you".
She was getting emotional now. She couldn't believe she heard those words. She couldn't believe he said he loved her, for real. If it was a dream she didn't want to wake up.
"What about Lindsey?" she asked.
"Peyton, there's only one person that can make my heart beat so fast, it's you!" Lucas said.
"You've always been the one, Peyton!" he said, "It's you and me together forever and never apart."
She was sobbing, she was so happy.
"Each morning as I awaken you're the reason I smile" he went on, "you're the person I want to hold and kiss and be with forever."
"I love you so much, Luke" she said between sobs, "I always have".
It was getting harder for her to speak.
"You make me feel so special!" she said.
"You too! You make me better!" he said.
"Are you coming home soon?" she asked hoping that she wouldn't have to wait, she had been waiting enough already and now she just wanted to be with the one she loved.
"Tomorrow morning I'll wake you up with a kiss on those beautiful lips of yours" he said.
She quickly went to bed thinking that it was the last time she was falling asleep alone. From now on there would always be another person, the one she's always loved, she would never be alone anymore.
