Dobby hiked through the frozen wasteland. His arms and legs bare to the freezing cold. Only his toes were safely protected underneath his socks that Master Potter had given him and a pillow case around his body. He thought to himself "What is Dobby doing here?". A few weeks ago Dobby thought that this would have been a great idea for his first journey as a free elf but now, he wished she chosen somewhere warmer. But it had been his dreams to see and hike up the Misty Mountains since he was a wee elf . In the stories his grandfather had told him the mountains were suppose to be great and majesticbut he never expected it to be this cold. Dobby kept shuffling through the snow muttering to himself "Dobby should have stayed home... Dobby should have stayed with Master Potter " over and over again. Seeing is breath in the cold air.

After a few hours, Dobby fingers and even his toes were getting numb and turning blue. Dobby knew if he stayed out in the cold he would die or even worse get sick. Dobby hated getting sick, his family had a weird habit of casting accidental spells whenever they sneezed and they tended to hurt themselves or the people around them...maybe Dobby just needed to get his priorities straight. Dobby kept shuffling across the snow. He looked down over the edge of the mountain. Dobby quickly jumped back when he noticed how high he was. He could barley see the ground any more or even the tall Middle-Earth trees, he debated for a second to go back down but decided it was too far. If he was going to die he would do it fighting and following his dream. Dobby tried running forward but he slipped on ice and landed on a hard rock. He tried to get back up but his body wouldn't listen to him. After a minute of struggle Dobby moved his body off the ground but as he got to his feet his legs buckled and collapsed underneath him. His whole body hit the ground again but this time he noticed through the blizzard a small cave in the mountain. This could be his chance for survival!

Dobby slowly army crawled to the cave. Once he made it, his body gave out and he rested his head against on rock. Dobby laid at the entrance of the cave watching the snow blow by. Only feeling the the little warmth of the cave gave him. Dobby began to relax and rest his eyes, thinking "Dobby should have stayed...home" . Regretting his trip Dobby's eyes finally closed as he drifted into a deep sleep.
