This poem is God inspired, for I am not a poet. I sat down and started writing. I just finished it and it only took me about twenty minutes. I pray it touches you in some way. Let me know what you think, for I'm not too great at poetry.

Crystal Heart
Though I may be unfaithful,
You gently prod me to the narrow path,
Though I try to flee,
You embrace me,
You continue to teach me Your ways,
Even though I walk through the valley,
I will not fear,
Though death taunts me,
I will not fear,
The enemy attacks me from all sides,
I will not be shaken,
My friends flee from my side,
I will not be shaken,
Darkness is closing in around me,
I will not fall,
Temptation whispers in my ear,
I will not fall,
For You are guiding me,
With a steady hand,
You uphold me,
Your grace falls like the rain,
I will be overcome with joy,
For You help me bear my cross,
Daily you surround me with songs of deliverance,
Continue to touch me,
So I will not fail,
Give me a burning passion that never disappears,
So I will seek You,
Show me how to be royalty for You,
So that I may fight,
Satan is seeking to destroy,
May You reign victorious,
Instruct me to walk with an undivided heart,
May I not waver,
Instill peace within me,
May I not snatch Your plans,
I seek to do Your will,
Direct me,
Be near me the rest of my days,
Work through my life,
Bring glory to Your name,
May I be a tool,
A mirror,
Reflecting Your holiness,
May many know Your name,
By watching me,
Use my life,
Because You love me,
For I am Your great treasure,
Your rare beauty,
Your Princess,
My heart is Your crystal,
Because You have polished me into Your likeness,
I am Yours,
Forevermore
