"What's wrong, Yugi?" Yami's familiar voice questioned for only me to hear.

"Yugi, let me take over. You're tired. Go to sleep." Without question, I faded back into my mind, allowing Yami to take over.
If I smile and don't believe, soon I know, I'll wake from this dream.
"Yugi, Tea Gardner was killed thirteen days ago." the teacher tiredly insisted for the seventeenth time. I was awake inside of Yami, telling him what to do when he came up blank. We worked in unison. We smiled at the stupid joke.
"No, she wasn't." Tea isn't dead. It's all a joke, or a dream.
"I'm not joking here, Mr. Motou. She was found 11 days ago in an alley way."
Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken.
"Yugi, I think I can help you. As the grief counselor of Domino High, I know I can help you." I scoffed.
"You're trying to fix me," he started to object, but I cut him off. "But I'm not broken."

I was softly existing in the corner of my Soul Room, watching Yami live for me, seeing everything through his beautiful ruby eyes.
"Hey Yuge?" Joey asked Yami. I tensed; Joey seemed to always know when something was up. "Is everything OK?" he asked, worriedly glancing at Yami. Yami slowly turned to Joey and smiled.
"I'm fine." I pulled my knees closer to me.

"Yugi!" Yami exclaimed, rushing through the door to my Soul Room. He ran to me and picked me up in his arms while wiping away my tears.
Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping.
I rolled onto my other side, my bed slowly adjusting to the shifted weight. I massaged my temples, trying to get the pounding to stop.
