Okies, I have had this idea for a while, and you're going to read and review it....

Disclaimer: I don't own Inu-Yasha, and unless you're Rumiko Takahashi, you don't either. Why would she read English fanfiction anyway? Makes no sense...

The Well------------------------

----------------------------

Naraku waited, watching in Kanna's mirror. His golem was fighting with Inu-Yasha. Nothing was really different than ever.

When the future-girl Kagome pulled out a sacred arrow, shot it, and the golem shattered. The doll in his room split in two, and the hair slid to the ground.

"So it is done,"a cold, feminine voice half-laughed.

Naraku spun around. "Kikyo."

A little grin adorned her gothically pretty face. "Yes, it is I."

"Why are you here?"he demanded.

"I came to tell you to go fight face-to-face with Inu-Yasha. It will be your end if you do not," Kikyo said, delibrately being ambiguous.

Without another word, she turned around and left the castle.

Naraku watched her go, and after she had left, he turned to Kanna. "Go outside. Don't let anyone in, not Kagura or anyone."

Silently, mindlessly, she obeyed. Taking, of course, her mirror, she tipped outside.

Alone now, and in dark silence, Naraku moved towards a closet. He opened it, and pulled out a large pot.

Busying around, he filled the pot with various ingredients, his miasma included. He was creating another incarnation of himself.

When he finished, he stepped back, and a small girl with gaunt black eyes, a pale, deadish yellow complexion, and stringy, long black hair stepped out.

Naraku looked at her dully. "You're my evil, my soul. I will send you to the future where that damned girl lives. You will kill...you will be me, if I die today or tomorrow, you will kill in my stead..."

She glanced up. "Yes, but what is my name, and what is yours?"

He handed her a ragged black kimono. "I am your master and father, the demon Naraku! And you are the demon that embody's fear, and pain. Your name is Semara."

"Semara..."she whispered.
