Disclaimers: This story was only written for entertainment purpose ( and trying to see if I can still write after all this time)… I don't own them in any way or form.
Note: This short drabble was inspired by two ideas. The first was a ´what if´ if Keroro didn't even really want to conquer Pokopen, but just acted around for the headquarters to prevent them from sending somebody else. The second was then the question about what would happen if headquarters finally would loose their patience..
Loyalty
A Keroro Gunso FanFiction
Sometimes Keroro wondered whether it was wrong to lead them to their secure demise or not without saying anything. But then he would catch a glimpse in Giroro´s or Dororo´s eyes and know that it was alright. They already knew it – and still followed him willingly.
Giroro – Fierce, thin and mangled, like a half-starved wolf in the winter. Waiting for a sign that the attacks would finally begin. He had a heart of gold, but it was life-or-death battles that freed him.
Dororo – Gentle, romantic Dororo. Who would have ever thought that the fragile shape held the mind of Keron´s best assassin? Dororo couldn't stand death, but he wouldn't stop for anything to protect what he believed in.
Kururu – The wicked genius. Kururu´s mind was so sharp that he regularly cut the rest of his team with it, and his character was that crooked that Keroro often wondered if it shouldn't be straight again. If asked, Kururu never gave a plausible answer, but somehow, Keroro had the feeling that his last ´Ku ku ku´ after the question whether he was with them had been quite more than just a clear yes.
Tamama – Naïve, innocent, cute Tamama… No, that wasn't right. Tamama was young and admittedly inexperienced, but he also was a master martial arts fighter and second to no-one with his jealousy impact. No matter how crazy the plans were, Tamama always went with them if it meant to go with his gunsou.
…and then there was still Angol Moa, a sweet girl who had nothing to do with the war, aside from the fact that she'd wanted to help her uncle. They had packed her on a shuttle and sent her back home just before the serious fighting had begun. It was the only thing sensible, but her dejected look when she'd realized that he was sending her away still made his heart ache.
So it was alright to procrastinate the conquering of Pokopen (to its inhabitants known as Earth) until the headquarters finally lost patience with them.

Note2: Well, this is it, my first attempt at Keroro Gunso. XD I hope I got them at least halfway in character sweatdrops Please feel free to drop a comment, I´m rather curious about how my writing style has become after such a long break ( I fear it's become worse, but then, I'm my worst critic anyway). ...For a version with proper formatting, please refer to my LJ account.
