The Day Death Came A-Knockin'
Author's Note/Warning: This drabble, b/c it's definitely a drabble, was requested by my best friend who is desperate to see an out of control Vampward and with Halloween coming up, it's well-timed. I don't ever like to think of Edward and Bella like this, but…
Here are the WARNINGS: What you're about to read is completely ridiculous, over the top and definitely involves main character deaths. Please don't take it too seriously.
All characters, characterizations and likeness of everything Twilight is S. Meyer's. Plot is mine. Beta'd by the bestie.

Walking home from school, it was a normal cloudy, misty afternoon. Bella cut through the trees taking the shortcut she'd discovered years ago. Once again, lost in her head, she failed to notice the lack of everyday nature sounds in the forest – birds singing, leaves rustling, branches creaking. Silence engulfed her, sans the footfalls of her feet.
A low snarl alerted her that she'd lost track of time and awareness of her surroundings. When the growling sounded closer and louder, she picked up her pace. Without warning, Bella felt herself propel forward and instant pain in her neck. With one gasp, her world faded to black.
As the creature finished the most delicious elixir he had ever tasted in his one hundred seven year old existence, he lay the now dead girl back on the ground. Once he felt his thirst was utterly quenched, reality set in and Edward leaped up, horrified of his actions. The brown haired girl with soulful eyes, whom he barely knew, stared blankly at him. Before the guilt could fully set in a pungent, wet dog smell alerted him that he wasn't alone.
Crouched in a protective stance, Edward prepared to battle. A large russet colored wolf lunged forward, growling and barking. His jaws angrily snapped, drool profusely leaked from his mouth, ready to kill the bloodsucker. This was no ordinary wolf. Edward, through his mind reading ability, heard human thoughts from this animal, screaming about his love of the brown haired girl.
Confusion set in and Edward relaxed a moment. That pause may have cost him his life, as not only did a larger, black wolf appear, but also three others. The black wolf charged as the russet one attacked and tore into Edward right on the neck, detaching his head from his body.
The wolves continued ripping apart the vampire. Amongst the howls, growls and yelping, the sound of screeching metal filled the forest. When Edward's body was obliterated, the most ear shattering scream was heard. As one of the wolves morphed back into his human form, two vampires arrived. Surrounded by the pack, the human/wolf man set fire to a branch and torched the pieces left of Edward. Purple smoke plumed towards the sky, filling the air with a sickeningly sweet scent. The smaller vampire screamed again. Her blonde companion, the good doctor of the town, restrained her arms.
"I think it's time for you to move on, Dr. Cullen," the human/wolf man said with a dark tone. "The treaty is over. Your family is no longer welcomed."
With that, the human/wolf man walked over to Bella's body, picked her up and disappeared into trees, the pack silently following.
The End.
