Part 1

Most of the organization was in a confuzzle trying to find the perfect birthday present for number nine, Demyx. Xemnas wasn't too worried, for he was the superior he didn't have to give anything to anyone. However, those who were really close friends with the Melodious Nocturne knew that they had to give him something.

"Hey, Axel!" Xigbar sauntered over to the flaming pyro.

Axel quickly stood up from the couch he was sitting on. He was startled at the sudden appearance of number two. "I promise you I don't know what the bouncy bed game is!" He started to turn away.

Xigbar grabbed Axels arm and pulled him back to the sofa. "First off what?!"

"Nothing. What do you want?"

"I need your brains for something."

Axel sighed in relief and then looked at his arm where the "freeshooter" was still grasping it; he hit the man's hand. "I'm too busy right now trying to earn money for Dem Dem's present."

"That's exactly what I need help with."

"Well you're on your own." Axel stood up once again only to be pulled back down.

"My rank is right under the superior. If you don't help me I could tell him to demolish you or turn you into a dusk."

"You don't scare me Xigbar."

"You're right," Xigbar chuckled. "Vexen! Can you whip me up some of the mind changing potion. Y'know that potion that changed Demyx's and Axel's body."

Axel growled. "Fine! I'll help you!" Xigbar was pleased. "Shouldn't you know what to give him anyway? You stalk him and watch him sleep. You should know everything about him."

"Well I was going to give him a box of chocolates but that would just reveal my soft side. I thought about giving him a drill but that would be too dangerous for him. Then there was this video game but Zexion got that for him. Oh yes and then there was this book but he doesn't read-"

"But he can spell 'floccinaucinihilipilificatio n.'"

"ya…So I'm stuck. Don't know what to give to my little dude. I want it to be the best birthday present ever!"

"You could always tell him you like him, giving him a kiss."

The two were silent for a moment lost in thought. Xigbar jumped to his feet. "I KNOW WHAT TO GIVE HIM!"

"…"

"Thanks Lea! You're such a big help." Xigbar dashed upstairs, getting ready for the night party.

Part 2

"Thanks guys." Demyx said with a cheesy birthday hat on his forehead like a unicorn.

Xemnas had found it in his non-existent heart to give Demyx some pokemon cards he had found to his trip to the poke world. Xalding baked Demyx a cake and some sea salt ice cream. Vexen made this strange cookie stick with chocolate at the end…he calls them pocky sticks. Lexaeus bought Demyx an amplifier to plug his sitar in. Zexion ended up giving Demyx the video game, Saix…Well Saix's a puppy so he couldn't really give Dem Dem anything. Axel bough Demyx a keychain of the Organization sign, Luxord gave him cards, Marluxia bought Demyx a flower, and Larxene bought him soda. Lastly Roxas gave him a dictionary.

Xigbar sat there smiling non-stop. He loved seeing Demyx with a smile on his face. He stood to his feet after finishing his cake. "Hey, Dem. Come with me."

Demyx didn't see anything wrong in leaving for a moment so he followed Xigbar onto the terrace. Kingdom Hearts, almost complete, hung high in the sky. Xigbar didn't want to say anything to sound really stupid. He wrapped his arms around waist of the birthday boy and pulled him into a kiss. The kiss could be explained as short and sweet however that would be a lie. The two were like that for a while only breaking for air.

Once finished Xigbary stared into the boys eyes. Demyx smiled before saying, "Best birthday present anyone could ever have."
