There was nothing particularly outstanding about the small town that sat baking in the twin suns of Tatooine. As most settlements on tat went there was a cantina, medical clinic, and the other basic amenities, but the one thing that set it apart was the fact that there was an organized imperial garrison present and this is their story.
"See any thing private?" called a sand trooper wearing the orange pauldron of a squad sergeant, the sand trooper had a harsh commanding tone one you would associate with combat.
"Not a soul sarge, though it looks like there is a party goin on over at the cantina" returned a younger respectively softer voice.
"All right then come on down"
Dropping down the ladder appeared a young man, appearing to be in his early twenties with ruffled dark brown hair, a thin young face and a smile you almost instantly trusted. He was dressed in the field uniform of an imperial medic, his name was Noulane sky.
"You seen your brother recently medic?" came the sand trooper referred to as Sarge.
"No sir last I saw of him he was going off duty and headed out the door"
"Ah he's probably over at the cantina again, drunk"
Noulane's brother, Tyler who was an imperial Ensign assigned to /6T as a naval correspondent was wishing that was the case. "Now listen here you thick headed lizard I don't care what he said to you that man is an imperial ISB agent and he has the authority to have you executed on the spot!"
The man to whom Tyler was referring to was imperial Internal Security Bureau agent by the name of Jhi' Kinn Val, who at this moment was standing at the end of the cantina bar with a strangely shaped knife pointed at his neck.
"Ensign sky would you stop talking to it and start convincing it to drop the knife!"
"Working on it Agent Val."
The trandoshen that held the knife made a hissing noise and stepped towards Jhi
"Back down doshen! First shot's goin in yer knee!" shouted Tyler as he drew his service weapon "agent Jhi grab your stuff and start walkin" Nodding slowly and silently agent jhi walked quietly out the door with Tyler following suit who was still pointing the blaster at the doshen.
"Well that was a mighty fine mess you got us into"
"All in the name of humanity" sighed Jhi "atleast you stepped in when you did"
"Yea well don't make a habit of it", looking around at the town Tyler adds quickly "lets get back to the garrison before that lizard gets wise"
Nodding quickly agent Jhi fell in behind Tyler as they picked their way through town headed in the direction of the garrison
