'Professor' a tall Brunette called, a Zubat Flying around her. 'Professor Rowan!' She Called a little annoyed now as she paused by the door. 'BloodFire look around please' she said waving her hand roughly in the direction of the Zubat who flew of to search the rooms.
'He's out Soots' a male said appearing from the storeroom 'Can I take a message?' He said jokily walking towards the girl he knew she wouldn't she prefers to pass on messages personally.
'Oh, I won't leave a message David. Did you see BloodFire on the way up?'
she questioned finding a sudden interest in the pencils on the desk by her side.
'No sorry Sophia' David said putting his arms around Sophia.
'Do you know where The Professor went?' Sophia said turning around to look at him
'Yes, Verity Lakefront he's acquired an unnatural interest in that place' David said letting Sophia go.
'Blast it' Sophia said starting to search for her missing bat. 'I knew I should have brought Chocolate'
'Come on I'll escort you I need to train my Sneasel anyway' David said grabbing the keys as BloodFire returned to the pair carrying a Silk Scarf.
'Silly Bat, come on' Sophia said laughing. The group left the Lab and as David locked it Sophia stared at the calm sea with interest. 'It's going to be a stormy day' Sophia muttered sighing. David just nodded he knew her 'Instincts' could be wrong and it was better not to challenge her when she was like this.
'…I have to think of names and it's easier to keep it simple' Sophia said explaining why she called the Muffin's babies Chocolate, Blueberry and Cinnamon.
'Hello Sophia, David' the professor announced as the two people approached him 'I was just heading back to the lab' He said hurriedly as he turned around
'Professor I came to tell you all the eggs hatched fine and thy have been no complications' Sophia beamed stroking BloodFire while David returned his Sneasel.
'Exhalent' the Professor said grabbing his briefcase and walking back to the lab.
'Here comes the storm?' David Whispered to Sophia following Professor Rowan back to the lab.
Back at the lab the group opened the door to find the place wrecked all the books where across the room the computers lay shattered on the floor, Paperwork appeared everywhere and the normal locked door to the cellar was wide open.
'The Machine!!' Both David and Professor Rowan shouted hurtling down the stairs. Sophia followed far more cautiously down the narrow stairs that creaked as she walked upon them wondering how David could spend so much time in this place they where far to many lights for a cave but the walls where encrusted with Spider Webs and dust. Typical she thought only boys allowed in here and it's filthy not even fit for a Zubat. Sophia readjusted her scarf so it covered her nose and she couldn't smell the burning smell so strongly and stood at the stairway watching the two boys rushing about checking the machines damage she could see many wire pulled from there places and a large metal door was singing on its hinges.
