My family is having a party and I didn't want to leave my room.
It was about a week after halloween and Sirius sat bored on his bed. He didn't have anything to do because McGonagall had the four marauders under close watch after they blew up the girls' bathroom a week ago.
"James, do you have anymore chocolate frogs?"
"No. Don't you have, like, ten left?"
"No Peter ate them all." Peter smiled shyly from his bed with chocolate covering his mouth.
"Doesn't Remus always have chocolate? Go check his drawer." Sirius's eyes lit up with the suggestion. Remus would never know if he took one. He always had a drawer full of various magical and muggle chocolates.
Sirius rolled out of the bed and onto the floor. Like an inchworm, he made his way to Remus's drawer and pulled out a large chocolate bar. Just as he was about to go back to his bed, their fifth roommate Frank Longbottom walked in.
"Where did you get that, Sirius?" he asked eying Remus's open top drawer.
"Remus's drawer," he answered with a mouthful of chocolate. Frank paled and ran from the room before the guys could even ask what was wrong. Sirius shrugged and finished the chocolate bar. He could get Remus another one if it matter that much.
*Later that day*
Remus came back from the library, and he was sleepy. He just wanted to curl up with a chocolate bar right now. His mouth began to water at the thought of the chocolate bar in his room. The other marauders were sleeping, and Frank was gone, so he quietly did all of his nighttime duties.
When he got out of the shower, Frank was still gone. Why was he still gone after curfew? Remus turned his thoughts to the chocolate bar in his top drawer. He was ready to just cry with joy.
The werewolf pulled open his top drawer to find it full of the usual amount of chocolates, but his special chocolate was missing. After shuffling through the chocolates, he dumped out the drawer to look when he didn't see it.
"It was in here! I know it was. It has to be! I didn't eat it yet."
"Remu', shut up. I'm trying to sleep," James said sleepily.
"I can't! My chocolate is gone! It just disappeared."
"You talkin 'bout the one Sirius ate?" Peter put in from the other side of the room.
"He did what?" Remus asked unusually calmly.
"Sirius ate one of your chocolates earlier. I ate all of his frogs, so he ate a chocolate bar from you," Peter answered more awake than before. "He said he would get you another one later."
Without a word, Remus walked over to the sleeping Sirius. He gripped the mattress tightly, and flipped it over forgetting about his super strength. His animagus friend landed with a thud and a cry.
"You ate my chocolate."
"Yeah, I ate the chocolate. I'll get you another one. You need to chill."
"YOU ATE MY CHOCOLATE," Remus yelled. "I LEFT YOU ALONE FOR A FEW HOURS AND YOU GO AND MESS STUFF UP!"
Sirius cowered into the corner as his friend's eyes glowed an amber color. His other two friends were hiding under their covers, and James had a smug look on his face. 'Maybe I should have told him. Nah, that wouldn't have been any fun. '
Neither boy could do anything to stop Remus as he levitated Sirius and cast several spells at their other friend. When Remus was finished with his attack, he dropped Sirius to the floor and stalked out of the room. Frank Longbottom jumped out of the way as Remus slammed open the door to the dorm room.
"Why didn't anyone tell me?" Sirius whined from the floor.
"Everyone has to learn the hard way," Frank commented from the open door.
