With a contented sigh, Pam put her well worn copy of Pride and Prejudice on the night stand. The intimidating English assignment from 10 years ago, had since become one of her favorite stories. With a glance at the clock, she decided to go to bed, since Roy's poker game was sure to keep him at least another two hours. As her thoughts became hazy and sleep claimed, she felt a twinge of regret, that love stories don't happen in real life.
Aurthor notes: Was watching the 1995 version of P&P (best movie ever) and realized that there were a lot of similarities between Elizabeth & Darcy and Jim & Pam.
