Casey- A 13-year old Pokémon Trainer. He's passionate, determined and always willing to take on life's problems. He was born in Slateport City, and usually hung out on the beach with his best friend, Nicky. At age 12, he became the Hoenn League Champion, after beating Nicky, but lost to Akiya a month later. His starter was a Treecko.
Nicky- A 12-year old trainer, he is Nicky's best friend. He's the more cheerful one of the three main guys. When he was 7, his father died, leaving him alone with his mother, who was an abusive fuck of a person. At school, he was bullied for being shorter and more frail than everyone else. When he turned 10, he met Casey and Akiya, who would go on to be his best friends. At around the same time, he got himself a starter Pokémon, Torchic. Torchic, Akiya and Casey were Nicky's only friends, but they helped him become a better person. He became the youngest Hoenn League Champion at 11, but was beaten by Casey 2 months later. Despite this, he was still very cheerful and upbeat.
Akiya- A 14-year old trainer. On the outside, he seems to be an Edgelord 6000. But in the inside, he is caring, nice, and just a great guy overall. He met Nicky and Casey when he was 12, and quickly became best friends. He helped Nicky and Casey become the trainers they are today, since he was more experienced. He is the current Hoenn League Champion, and his starter was a Mudkip.
