The Golden Globes had finished, and it was off to the after party. Cory and Lea had really bonded over the past few weeks. And Lea had feelings for him. That's why she split from Theo. She truly felt that there was something between her and Cory. And she was going to take that chance.

Lea had a few drinks, but she wasn't drunk. She wanted to talk to Cory, alone and personally. She wanted to know if he felt the same way. She had the vibe that maybe he did.

"Hey Cory, can we talk" Lea said.

"Sure, what's it about?"

"Just come a bit further away"

"I don't know if you knew, but I broke up with Theo, we're still friends, but I couldn't go on, because I felt that I had feelings for somebody else, you know"

"Okay, and before you go on, there is somebody I want you to meet, wait one second" He exclaimed, as he walked a little bit to go get the person he was talking about"

"Summer, I'd like you to meet Lea."

"Is she your best friend or something?"

"She's my girlfriend; I wanted to tell everybody tonight, so I invited her to the after party"

Lea's heart sunk. She felt her heart tearing.

"It's nice to meet you Summer"

Lea was tearing up inside, "Um, excuse me, I just need to use the ladies room, I'll see you soon."

"She ran to the toilet, where she just stood up, tears running, and her mascara, she had to stop crying, because it would look too obvious. How didn't she see this coming? Cory was a kind, and amazing, handsome human being, and she was too late.

As she walked out the cubicle, Naya was there.

"Oh, Hey Naya"

"What's wrong Lea? Have you been crying?"

"Maybe.. Remember how I told you how I broke up with Theo, because there was somebody else? That somebody was Cory. I like him, a lot. But it's too late, He's now with this girl named Summer, I think she's been in a few TV series, but beside the point, I'm too late"

"It was Cory? Are you serious?"

"Yeah"

"Awww. Don't worry. You are amazing, you'll be with him someday, your secret is safe with me, I won't even tell Heather"

They walked out together, and Lea was trying to enjoy the night. She was putting aside the whole Cory & Summer drama, and focusing on her castmates Golden Globe Win.
