Gaius waited for the girl to wake up, and hearing something behind him turned around to see Arthur, Percival, elyan, gwaine, Leon, and Merlin. Most of them were simply looking at the girl, but gwaine walks slowly up to her. His face is full of anguish, and he falls to his knees by her bedside and stares at her uninjured face as he reaches up to touch her hand. The other knights simply watch him, either surprised or sad, and Arthur simply asks a simple question, understanding filling his face.
"Who is she, gwaine?"
"We were betrothed before I ran away." Gwaine continued looking at the girl sleeping on the bed in front of him. He rises up and sits next to her and reaches out to brush the hair from her forehead, when her eyes flutter and she awakes. They remain unfocused for a few seconds, before she focuses on the man sitting before her, whom she never thought she would see again. Upon locking eyes with him, a bright smile broke out on her face, and she raised her hand to his face, as if to make sure that he was really there. She cups his cheek with the palm of her hand, and he leans his face into the touch, raising his hand to do the same before remembering the extent of her injuries and dropping it back to grasp her other hand. He pulls away, grasping her hand in his free one, and looks at the bruises on her face with a pained expression. She finally glanced away from him, after sing something out of the corner of her eye, and her face began to redden after realizing that people she doesn't know have been watching her sleep. Gwaine, sensing her embarrassment, chuckles softly before returning to the chair beside where she currently lays.
Arthur stepped forward, towards where the couple sat, and smiled warmly at the blushing maiden. "Hello, I am king Arthur, and this is my wife Guinevere." He then began to introduce the other knights and his manservant, whom were all smiling at the injured girl. She responded with a bright smile, her eyes lighting up in a way that made the room seem brighter to everyone standing in it.
"It's very nice to meet your majesties, my name is Magdelena. It is very nice to meet all of you; I apologize for my unexpected appearance. I wish I could have come for a better reason then I have been made to." She looked sadly at her hands, which were clasped in her lap as she finished speaking. Gwaine covered her hands with one of his, making her look up at him.
"Who did this to you?" Gwaine questioned softly, and she sighed before responding that she doesn't know their names but she can describe them.
"One had long black hair, curly and messy, and she was wearing a black woven dress and black shoes. The other was an armored man, with short dark hair and a scar across his left eye. They sent me here with a message to tell you if I survived."
