Greek Mythology: Inferno

Poem: Few artists are appreciate in their time. Or blacksmiths. Or gods. Difference is, as far as gods are concerned, one runs great risk of not appreciating their works. Hephaestus was one such example.

Inferno

Earthquakes rumble, mountains tremble,

I can even stir the seas.

Some mortals I reward with armour,

While ignoring others' pleas.

...

My breath is that of burning fire,

Volcanoes show my might.

Tongue of fire, blood of lava,

At my forge from dawn to night.

...

Hephaestus, Vulcan, these are my names,

I'm the forge god just the same.

Give thanks to your armour, mortals,

Or risk my burning flame.
