"Geez, Raph, stop!"
Michelangelo grabbed his brother's arm before another punch could make contact with the unconcsious man being against the wall of the alleyway.
Raphael glared at him, and Michelangelo glared right back. After a few moments, the hothead reluctantly dropped the man, leaping onto the fire escape to lead the way out of the alley.
Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo all exchanged glances, and Mikey shrugged before the three of them followed.
Leo caught up to Raphael a few rooftops away. "Hey, what happened back there?"
He gritted his teeth. "The guy hurt a kid!"
He blinked, and Don and Mikey were just as surprised. The hothead out of the four of them just so happened to have a soft spot for kids. How about that.
He turned away, starting off again since there had been no reaction.
"Don and I will head home," Leo said to Mikey, "You talk to him."
"Why me?!" he asked, frowning at the idea.
"You get along with him the best when you're not annoying him," Donatello pointed out as he and Leo started off.
Michelangelo sighed, going off after Raphael, catching up quickly. "Hey, slow down, I wanna talk."
Raphael stopped suddenly, turning on him. "What is it?"
He gulped at the ferocity of his brother's voice. "I just wanna talk, that's all..."
"Yeah, about what?" He folded his arms across his chest impatiently.
"The kid thing... What happened exactly?"
He sighed. "Long story, don't wanna talk about it."
"Embarrassing?"
"A bit."
"Later, then."
"Probably not, but you can try all you like."
They looked at each other in silence for a moment, then Mikey patted Raph on the shoulder. "You're not so bad, after all."
Raphael smirked. "Doesn't mean I won't be soft for you anytime in the future."
Michelangelo laughed. "Didn't think so."
