When Harry entered the great hall after leaving Ron and Hermione, there was an empty spot in the pit of his stomach.

"Harry!" Ginny said as she flung herself into his arms.

"Ginny." He replied, because although he was happy to see her, what he really wanted was to be alone with his thoughts.

"You are an idiot. A massive moron." She said pulling out of his arms slightly.

"Yeah. I know." Harry replied, absent-minded.

"Fine." Ginny told Harry, "I need to go." She turned and hurried out of the great hall before the tears started to flow down her cheeks.

"Ginny! No, wait!" He yelled after her but she was already gone, "I'm sorry." He finished in a whisper.

He sat down heavily on one of the benches that were sitting around the great hall. He buried his face into his palms.

"Harry?" A voice said from above him.

"Yeah." He replied, without looking up.

"Why is Ginny cry in the girls' bathroom?" The voice asked. Harry looked up to see Luna standing over him.

"I did something stupid."

"Well, you are a boy." She said happily, "Don't worry. She'll come around." She started to move away, towards where Neville was sitting.

"Can I talk to you Luna?" Harry asked suddenly.

"Of course, Harry!" She replied happily, sitting down next to Harry, "What's up?"

"I have a problem."

"Well I figured that." She beamed at him.

"I never really thought about my life past Voldemort," Luna cringed slightly beside him, "Sorry. And now that he's gone... I just don't know what to do with myself."

"That's not a problem!" Luna beamed, "You were focusing on he-who-must-not-be-named and now you can go and focus on something else. It's like when a dream comes true. You can find something else to dream about."

"You know, what? You're right!" Harry said, and jumped up from the bench, "I'm sorry, Luna, but I gotta go."

"No trouble at all." She told him brightly, "Glad I could help!"

Harry ran through the halls of Hogwarts, past Ron and Hermione who were holding hands and talking in hushed voices.

When sudden he ran straight into Ginny, who was just coming out of the girls' bathroom.

"Ginny!" Harry exclaimed when he saw her, "I'm so sorry!"

"I hate you." She told him, as she picked herself off the floor.

The smile on Harry's face faltered, "What?"

"Do you have any idea what you put me through?" She yelled at him, "You lead me to believe that you were dead! And then you just push me aside? I hate yo..." She was cut off by Harry pressing his lips to hers.

She kissed him back, as she twined her fingers in Harry dark hair. Somehow he knew things would work out in the end.
