The Legacy Continues

My dad always hated airplanes.

He's told me why before, and his past wasn't exactly a joyride. To be honest with you, though, there's no better reason to be afraid of airplanes then knowing the god of thunder and lightning will strike you down in a second. But I guess he was praying a bit more to him to not do that lately, so he could go on this flight to Camp Half-Blood. The wait for the plane was terribly long, and we had to wait there for hours on end, but finally we got to the front desk to pay for the tickets.

"Hello." said Percy "We would like to board you're great big old murder machine."

The women at the desk gave him a smirk, and handed us three tickets to the Airbus 7585. We were about to board the plane when something odd happened. My mom Annabeth started getting on edge, and pushed me quickly aboard.

"Mom what are you doing?"

"get on the plane, and find us some seats, I need to talk to your father." Annabeth said

I walked onto the plane and found a 1st class seat to relax in. The whole trip to this "Camp Half-Blood" place had been pretty questioning. My parents had both been on edge and alert, and more aware of their surroundings. I just wish I knew why. suddenly the entire plane shook and started up. Everyone hurried to their seats, but I got up to try to get back to my mom and dad. I managed to find see them on last time, fighting a huge cyclops. The plane's jet bridge was backing up with me on it! I ran as fast as I could back into the plane, with everything I ever known left behind me.

The story is just getting started, and more is yet to come. Let me know what you think. (P.S. the main characters name is Liam)
