It was Saturday and Emma was sitting on the sofa at Mary Margaret's place, she was reading yesterdays newspaper trying to block out her sons endless theories about that everyone in this town was fairytale characters, cursed by his mother the evil queen.
Emma didn't believe it, of course, but she usually played along to make Henry happy. But not today, today she was to tired to even make an effort, she'd just let him ramble on about how she, Emma the savior was gonna break the curse.
"The book is saying that when you've come back, the final battle will begin. But how can the battle begin without you breaking the curse. And how do you break it? It doesn't say." Henry keeps ranting to Emma, and doesn't even notice she's not listening.
Emma puts down the newspaper on the table in front of her, she looked over at her son who had his head deep into his book. She sighed as she started to stand up.
"Henry, maybe we could take a break. We could go outside for a walk or something." Emma said who really wanted to get out of the small apartment.
Henry looked up from his book and started to smile. "That's a great idea! It's time for some Operation Cobra." He stood up and took his bag up from the floor and puts the book safely inside, and went over to the door to put on his jacket.
It wasn't really what Emma had meant, but she couldn't complain, she at least got him to get outside. If she had to endure some Operation Cobra while at it, so be it.
Emma and Henry are sitting at Granny's eating their breakfast, well Emma is eating and Henry is more looking at the book, which starting to irritate Emma more and more.
"Hey kid! Why don't you put your book in your bag so you could eat without interruptions?"
"Why? I'm not that hungry anyway."
Emma sights and leans forward over the table. "That has become a habit, young man. You need to eat."
Henry doesn't answer her, but he takes a bit of his pancake and then look back at the book. The door opens and in comes Regina Mills, Mayor of Storybrooke and Henry's mother. She sits down at her favorite chair by the bar and orders some coffee.
Emma had notice the Mayor step inside the diner but didn't take much notice, this was her time with Henry, which Regina herself had permitted, so why should she bother to be worried that she had come to take Henry home.
Then all of a sudden, Emma was not prepared for it, Henry shout out so the whole diner hears him. "I HAVE FOUND IT!" Emma jumps in her seat and starts to look around, she smiles at the other guests and then turns back to Henry.
"Henry, do you have to yell so load?"
"Sorry, but I have found the way to break the curse! It wasn't easy, it was so deep buried in the book like it didn't want anyone to read it." Henry says very fast and in so much excitement.
Emma smiles, and look up just to see the Mayor turn back her head from watching them. She, like everyone else in the diner had heard Henry's outburst.
"Henry, I think your mother heard you."
"So? It doesn't matter anyway, it's about her so we have tot talk to her either way."
"Why?" Emma had started to get confused, she thought Henry wanted to break the curse, but why would he want to tell that to the one person who cast it? Not that any of this was real, but Emma ought to think that the kid had a very big imagination.
"Because.." Henry started to whisper. "She might be the key to find the other savior!"
