Awake. Feel awake. I should be exhausted, I should be half asleep because I'm up all night with you or watching you sleep peacefully because all day you run from crisis to cries and it's only when you sleep that you seem peaceful, despite the fact that I rarely get to spend a whole night with you. Between your waste of space husband and the messy world of being a government minister and having Malcolm Tucker on your back, you rarely are able to steal a night away to be with me.

Love. Learn to love. Before you walked into the DoSAC office 6 months ago I didn't know what love was. Before you I didn't know how to love but when you walked in, love hit me like a heavy goods vehicle travelling at 60mph. It shouldn't have happened, you're Nicola Murray the minister of DoSAC and more importantly married to a man who could easily kill me and I'm just your aid and you love me too.

Instinct. Trust your instinct. With you every reaction is an instinct and since you walked into my life, I've learnt to trust them. It's harder in the office or in public because if our love was ever discovered then there'd be a public scandal that would end up with me being fired and probably killed by your husband, and there'd be public calls for you to resign.

Value. Know your value. My life mission now a days is making sure you know how valued you are. Everyone makes a point of trying to put you down starting with Malcolm and James and ending with your harshest critic; yourself. It's my job now to show you how important you are and how completely I've fallen in love with you.

Energy. Be your energy. You're my energy, you're the thing that keeps me going. When the world comes crashing down around us, you're the one who gives me the energy to keep going and I hope I do the same for you. How could I not be and feel alive when I have you.
