Parker liked Eliot. He's like a big brother to her. He always protects her like a faithful dog and is soft and cuddly too. Like a teddy bear. But her favorite part is his eyes. They're beautiful. They're like blue and grey mixed into the perfect color. His eyes gets really blue when he's excited or happy about something. And when he's sad, they turned greyish, like the ocean during a really bad storm. But when he's angry, really really angry, Eliot's eyes gets a steely cold look. Like suddenly being dumped in snow when you have nothing but your underwear on. And then being trapped in a small shrinking metal box with no way out. They're like a mixture of the coldest blue imaginable and silver from the sharpest knife in the world. When he's scared his eyes turn blue with a hint of grey. And despite all the control he has, Parker can see very clearly when he's even a little alarmed. When he's bored, his eyes get dull and turn a couple shades darker. When he's haunted, his eyes turn silver without a trace of blue. Like life was sucked out of him. When he's distracted or remembering something or thinking really hard, his eyes get kind of transparent. Still very noticeable, but you could tell he's not paying attention. Even when he has his protective scowl in place, Parker can tell what he's feeling. She's sure Sophie can too. And if Parker looks close enough, she can see how his world lights up whenever she's near him.
