Quick songfic. I really needed something to pull me out of writers block and suddenly this song popped into my head. I had been meaning to do this for a while, but why not now?

These are really hard to pull off and I think I did okay on this one so pleaaase review.

Thanks, and I don't own this song, it's all Avril's and her gig's.

Oh, and P.S. it helps if you listen to the song while reading, though it's rather short so you'll probably finish reading first.

UPDATE PLEASE REAAADD!

I was recently warned about posting lyrics not in the public domain. So unless I'm not posting a songfic to Jingle Bells I might get reported. :S

So I removed the lyrics, but you can still listen to the song while reading, if I am correct about the rules. However, if you would like to read the full version you can PM me and I'll personally send you the full fic. (I hope that's not against the rules too. It's not publishing it...like sending a story to a friend...Please let me know if it is not allowed). Sorry 'bout the inconvenience guys...

Annnyways:

I'm With You

Cinquain

She shivered despite the warm, sticky air, eyes closed but not daring to let go.

They'd come again.

She knew. There was no escaping.

Everything gone. What was the point of running?

Revenge?

And yet everything was all wrong. Where was everybody?

Where was home now?

She dashed to the fresher, trembling, retching her last meal into the porcelain.

Who was there to turn to?

She stared at her tearstained reflection in the mirror.

Who was that woman in the glass? What had happened to her world?

Unable to bear it any longer, she fled.

She did not care of the stares of the men on night duty, did not care of the nightgown flapping at her ankles.

Where is he?

And ran, and ran, and ran, tripping, stumbling, crying.

She was numb.

She searched for somebody she knew.

He was waiting, just standing there on the gangway, that familiar face, and she broke into a run and he took her into his arms without a word and they embraced and she said that she'd never let go...

And he just held her and promised himself that he'd never let go.

Well? Sorry if it didn't make sense without the lyrics. PM me if you want the full version.

Reviews for the full/incomplete? Or tell me if I'm breaking another rule here XP. Criticism welcome.
