This is a new songfic of as soon as I heard the song I knew it
was perfect for a Ryouga and Ukyou fic. The song is million
miles away by the Offspring, all characters are copyrighted by
Rumiko Takahashi and Viz, and all are used without permission

P-chan is lying in the arms of a sleeping Akane
Wanting to pretend
He crawls out of her grip

He nuzzles against her and hops to the floor

He looks back at the sleeping Akane and sighs softly

Akane whispers Ranmas name

Ryouga jumps off her window and onto her desk

He grabs a pen and scribbles something on a piece of paper

One teardrop falls from his face and he bounds off

See Ryouga asking for diections at various places, sitting at
his campsite cooking a wild bird, sleeping in his tent, and
looking at a map looking very confused.
Each passing day, every passing face,
Night, Ryouga runs through a city ignoring all the people
Seems like such a blur
He suddenly stops in front of a building
I long to be, home, silently,
He sighs, opens the door and walks inside
Lying next to her
You see a girl, from the back with brown hair and a bow,
looking at Ryouga enter
Just to get back, by her side is all,
Tears are coming off the girls face which is being covered by
shadows
All I need to be
They slowly walk towards each other, you still can't see the
girls face
I went away, what I really left, left behide was me
The girl runs into Ryouga's arms and is about to kiss him but
at that moment Ryouga wakes up and jumps out of his sleeping
bag in the woods
I need to be,
Ryouga punches a tree in frustration causing it to fall over
Getting on my way,
He picks up his pack and umbrella

He walks off into the darkness of the woods
Million miles away
I can't take
Ryouga is walking forward, and the backround gradually changes
from woods early mourning, to a city, to a jungle, to a snow
covered plain in the afternoon, to mountains, to a desert at
sunset and back to a city at night.
It's telling me,
Ryouga stops in front of a building, he looks up to see a neon
sign that says Ucchans.
To be on my way,
He smiles, and opens the door

He walks through the door

I can't take
Ukyou is standing in the restaurant cleaning up. She looks up
from her work, sets the broom down and walks up to him casually.
Ukyou greets him but he says nothing. After a while of silence,
he holds out a single white rose for her, she takes
it gently and smells it. Ukyou looks into Ryouga's eye's with tears in hers,
he can only smile and nod his head. She leaps into Ryouga's arms and
kisses him.
There you go, I hope you enjoyed it, I found this fic to be
really hard even though I knew exacly was it was going to be
about and What I wanted in it. It was hard to write action in
the final one and a half minutes of the song because there were
not many words I could put action to, hopefully you can
understand how I wanted you to see the fic. Thanks for reading.
