"Rose!" the Doctor cried out, shattering the comfortable silence that had enveloped us. I jumped up from where I was reading a book in the console room. He was under the controls, fiddling with the TARDIS, and, judging by his hiss of pain, she didn't like it very much. "What?" I questioned, annoyance filling my voice. His sudden outburst had scared me. "We should go visit your mum. The TARDIS needs a break and you haven't seen your mum in ages, so you should probably go see her," he said as I was sitting down again. It was silent for a moment as I thought about it. "Sure. I mean, we have to tell her that she is going to be a grandmother soon anyway." At my words, the Doctor crawled quickly from under the controls. He still sat up before he was clear of the bottom of it, and a loud thud filled the room. He didn't even rub his head as he looked at me with shock filled eyes. "You're… I'm… WHAT?" I chuckled and looked at him. "For once I have managed to silence the Doctor!" He looked at me warily before questioning, "Did you make that up to shut me up, or did you actually mean it?" I stood up and took a few steps closer to him, and said, "I meant every single word." Joy filled his eyes for a moment, before his face drained of any color and his eyes widened with fear. "No. No no no no no no no no no no. She will slap me into my next regeneration! I rather like being a pretty boy!" He slapped a hand over his mouth. It was evident that he hadn't meant to call himself a pretty boy. He just turned to toward the controls, muttering something that sounded vaguely like "You're lucky I love you." A moment later, I felt the TARDIS land with a jolt. I walked outside, only to be slammed into by my mum. She stepped away to look me over, but when she noticed a hand on my stomach, her expression turned to one of pure anger. The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIOS and looked at the ground sheepishly. "Look at me!" my mum commanded. He complied, not wanting to earn another slap. Before I saw her move, the Doctor was on the ground. "Okay, I expected the slap, but not that hard, mum!" I exclaimed as I helped the Doctor to his feet from where he had fallen. "You got my Doctor pregnant?" she yelled furiously. "She's only 20!" At this I had to step in. "Actually mum, I'm 24." A moment later, the Doctor was on the ground again. "You didn't bring her back for four years?" she yelled, even louder than before. I helped him up off the floor again and he shielded himself in fear of another slap. "At least you were at the wedding…" he said. It sounded like a question. "You're right… At least I was at the wedding. But still. Four years?" I chuckled. "I was 23 then, mum." The Doctor seemed to be less afraid because he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I returned the gesture by wrapping my arm around his waist, my other hand still hovering over my stomach protectively. "Well come on then. You two must be starving." At the mention of food, my stomach growled, causing everyone to laugh. Mum lead the way, and when she was far enough away, the Doctor muttered, "At least it wasn't hard enough to make me regenerate." Apparently she heard him, because she called back, "Don't make me try to next time."

Really short, I know, but I wrote it in the middle of class. Review if you want… I really don't care if it's constructive criticism but no hate. That's something that always bothers me, I'm not making you read it, so if you want to hate it, don't read it.
