Leonardo was busy fighting off Dr. Eggman's robots in a ruined arena in Station Square. The psycho doctor was attacking again. And this time, despite being out numbered. Leonardo managed to defeat all the robots until...

*CLANG!*

This Robot was very different from other designs. It had spikes on it's fists, it had missile launchers on it's shoulders and

Dr. Eggman in a robot prepared to fight. He taunted out after laughing "So, this is the bastard who destroyed my Robots. I thought Sonic was here."

"Says so to the doctor who thought that I was Sonic."

"You think I'm blind, do you? Very well, I'll take you down. And Sonic will be next!" Eggman retorted.

Eggman fired lasers at Leonardo, but misses, as the red and black hedgehog manages to find the wiring spot via Eagle Vision and cuts off the wires via Hidden Blade. Most of Eggman's mobility systems slow down to 10% of speed due to the wiring leading to his mobility AI destroyed. Not giving up, Eggman fires again missiles and lasers, but Leonardo misses again and climbs up to the back of the robot, and cuts down another wiring spot, causing the robot's targeting systems to deactivate.

"Aarrgh! You red blur! I'll kill you!" Eggman angrily said to Leonardo after lowering his fist down.

Leonardo instead throws knifes at Eggman's cockpit before raising the robot's fist to to him. After that, the robot that Eggman was piloting falls down to his back.

Meanwhile, Sonic was pacing too fast after hearing the sound. He turned and ran to where he heard the sound, as it called his name for help. Sonic found out and yelled "Amy!" and ran off to where Amy was.

Back to the fight...

Eggman was too busy and jumped on the Eggmobile to fight Leonardo, as it was armed with rockets and guns. He yelled out "Everytime I tried, still destroyed by Sonic and his arrogant friends of his. I WILL NEVER LOSE TO HIM. NEVER!" then fires his guns at Leonardo, but dodges.

Sonic arrives and Leonardo asks "What are you doing here?"

Sonic responds "I heard Amy. I thought she was here."

Eggman said "Oh you mean this Amy?" then drops a towed net that connects to the Eggmobile,revealing to be a captured Amy inside the net. Amy yelled out "You fat bastard, Sonic will save me and he will kick your big, fat ass." Eggman responded "Oh, he is welcome to try when I finish you."

Sonic shouted angrily "Let her go Eggman. I'm the one you want. You may kill me here, but I WILL never stop fighting YOU!"

Eggman laughed evilly and fired his rockets at Sonic, but he was too fast and ran around until he jumps and Spin Dashes at the Eggmobile. Leonardo at the other hand aimed his crossbow and fired a sharp bolt at the net, causing it to fall and freeing Amy, who ran behind a wall, cheering for Sonic inaudibly. Then Leonardo, after seeing Sonic destroying the Eggmobile's engine, fires at the gantries holding the guns and launchers via armor piercing blast from the Hidden Gun, causing most but not all guns and launchers to fall. Then Sonic spin dashes at the Eggmobile one last time, Then...

*CRASH!*

Sonic then declares "You lost again Egghead."

Eggman, at his dying breath retorts "No, you did, you bastard."

At slow motion, Eggman fires one last bullet at Sonic in the chest, mortally wounding him, causing Amy to gasp in shock and Leonardo to stab him in the head via Hidden Blade. In a white room with white beams, Eggman says his last words...

"You don't understand. I won, and Sonic dies losing this battle."

"Yes, you did. But it was short lived." Leonardo responded, then as Eggman died, he said in respect for the dead "May there be the peace you have worked hard to gain."

When the white room disperses, Leonardo walks over to the right side of a dying Sonic, with Amy on the left, crying, that Sonic was dying. Sonic in his last words "You're leading the Team now. I'm done. And so is Eggman."

Leonardo responded "Not today."

6 days later...

Sonic wakes up from the hospital, his wound removed, and seeing Amy sleeping at his right side. He says weakly "Amy, where am I?" after she wakes up.

Amy responded "Sonic! You're back!" and hugs him softly.

"Ow! Take it easy Ames." Sonic said in pain. Amy releases him and says "Oops, sorry. Looks like we won again." then kisses him in deeply in the lips. Sonic was too weak to kiss back, so he let her kiss him until she releases him.

5 weeks later...

Sonic steps out walking to his home with Amy and Tails behind him. Inside his house, Leonardo announced "Quick, to positions."

As Sonic goes in, everyone said "SURPRISE!" as Silver and Blaze were the only ones who blew party horns. Vector fired confetti around Sonic and Charmy cheered in excitement.

As the part goes on for 3 minutes, everyone was dancing, talking and eating. By the next 2 hours everyone went back to their homes. Sonic was busy wiping off chocolate in his face with a face towel, as well as saying goodbye to Amy. After that. Sonic disposed the party favors in the Dumpster behind his house, took a bath and jumps to his bed. Sonic thought "Now, that Eggman is dead, it's over." and drifted to sleep.

Meanwhile...

Leonardo closes the door behind him slowly and goes down to the basement. He ignores Silver and Blaze sleeping in his guest room naked. When he opens the door that leads to a room on the other side of the basement, it contained his Assassin equipment, his armor and a list written down. The list was titled "List of assassination targets". Leonardo grabbed the list, and crossed Eggman's name.

"One down, 4 for go." Leonardo stated and closed the room.
