4. Shikamaru/Neji; Kiss From A Rose – Seal; 4:48 min.

Something you would never have thought about Shikamaru Naara, was that he was mesmerized by the song 'Kiss From A Rose'.
Neji first found out about this when they got together, and he found it strange how Shikamaru could never tire of the song. He would lie on the couch, just listening to the same song streaming out from the speakers for hours.
Neji had always enjoyed the song, but after getting together with Shikamaru he quickly got tired of hearing it all the time.
That is, until Shikamaru started to sing it himself, after their CD player had 'strangely' broken down (Shikamaru had never mentioned the fact that he found some of Neji's chakra in the cords. He found it too troublesome to ask about it).
After that, Neji had become mesmerized by the song as well, but only when Shikamaru sang it himself. He loved how Shikamaru's rich voice sounded when it was singing this beautiful song.
Shikamaru had noticed this quite quickly, and when they finally got a new stereo he decided to make a habit out of singing along to the song. As troublesome as it was, it made Neji happy, and it gave him more time with Neji as well.
Before, Neji had made a habit out of going outside whenever he started the song. But now instead of running outside, Neji came into the room whenever he started the song, and would lie down next to him with his head against Shikamaru's chest.
As troublesome as it was to sing, it was worth the time he got to lie on the couch with Neji in his arms and his favourite song playing in the background.

Fun fact: I was kind of like Shikamaru with this song last year. I was completely mesmerized by the song whenever it came on, and I wouldn't listen to any song besides this for the rest of the day.
