Summary: A drabble of sorts. As the Sound Ninja come closer and closer to Sasuke, Kin thinks about the one person who stole her heart. SHOUJO AI! One-sided Kin X Hinata.
It was supposed to have been a simple mission: kill anyone who gets in your way during the Chunin Exams. Tsuchi Kin had expected as much. Orochimaru never liked to give long, complicated plans. Still, even though she was strong enough, Kin was not as comfortable at the fact that she has to kill people. 'Dosu and Zaku seem impatient today…' Kin thought as she took a brief look at her two teammates.
Zaku had a slightly maniacal sneer spread across his face. 'He seems pretty excited for a guy wearing blood-stained clothes…' Kin realized, but she quickly shook that unimportant thought out of her head. She had grown up with the words 'Don't think unnecessary thoughts' drilled into her brain. Still, there was one person she couldn't get out of her head, no matter what she did.
She couldn't stop thinking of Hyuga Hinata.
There was something about the shy girl that caught Kin's eye. However, the young Sound Ninja wasn't too sure what it was herself. Still, her heart practically skipped a beat every time Hinata even noticed her. Unfortunately, Kin knew she could not openly reveal her true feelings. Not only could that ruin any chance of ever getting close to Hinata, but she may end up losing Dosu and Zaku as well.
Kin let out a small sigh as the tower in the middle of the forest slowly came to view. Suddenly, Dosu snapped Kin out of her thoughts by saying, "Okay, remember the plan? Sasuke's team must be nearby, so it would be best if we killed him quickly…"
Kin nodded and followed Dosu down to the forest floor…
