My name is Saya Haruko, I live in a village hidden in smoke, smoke from the volcano that inhabits the south mountains. We're relatively safe, the volcano doesn't act up much, but the smoke can get over whelming to say the least.
Our village doesn't really have a name, the leader, Melona, she makes sure we all have what we need, food and supplies, necessities, only things that will ensure our lives. There is something special about our volcano, I don't know what it is, but it also contributes to the reason of why our village is hidden.
Not many know about the volcano, those who do either live in the village or they work for the village, but they are not permitted to speak if the village. It is not to exist once they leave.
I don't personally like the rules, I like adventure, I like to roam and visit other places. It makes me wish our village had armed forces, but we hire other ninja to do our dirty work. It's not like I have any ties to this village, I don't have family, no friends, and they all think I'm trouble… I can see why. I'm not really a people person.
I've never known family, and I don't even know if they're dead or they just dumped me. It would be screwed up if they didn't want me.
I guess I'll never know, oh well.
