Sorry for such a long hiatus. I have been busy with so many things. I am hoping to finish up a few chapters to Reunite. Until then, enjoy this short and sweet little story.

The Start of a Long Journey: (From Episode 131)

Judai curled up in his bed, his arms concealing his face.

"How...How could this--" Judai whispered in his room. He was all alone in his dorm room, the atmosphere heavy. He couldn't believe that it was all happening to him. One minute, they were dueling to save everyone from that dimension. They were dueling for their lives, as well as their own. Then, when the duel was finished, Johan didn't return with them. Judai cried out his name when they returned to their own world, knowing fully well what happened.

"Yubel...why?? It is all my fault. Because I sent her into space. But, it was something for the best. Or so I thought." he got on his hands and knees, his face staring at his pillow. His anger and frustration was growing at the thought of his new best friend. Images of them dueling for the first time, images of them saving Sho from O'Brien, images of them fighting to survive in the other dimension. It was hurting more and more. With a harsh growl, he punched the pillow with all of his might, holding back tears.

"Th--there must be some way of getting him back here! I need to get him back..." he buried his head in his pillow, a heavy sigh and a few small noises were muffled as he just laid there. It was just so hard for Judai to think of anything BUT Johan, and how it was all his fault.

'What can I do??? How can I go and save him?' That was what was running through his mind. He didn't know how to save him, or where to start. He knew that there just HAD to be a way to get him back. Even if it meant sacrificing himself to do such a task. He felt that was the least he could do for the bluenett and what he is going through at this very moment in that other world, all alone.

"Johan...where are you. I need you back...with me.." he spoke softly in the pillow, a small faint of a few muffled sobs were heard in the dorm room, with Judai clinging to the bed sheets tightly.

However, it all subsided as he heard a familiar friend, crying out to him. "Kuri Kuri!!"

Judai's head jumped up, a few tears sliding down his face before he stared at Hana Kuriboh. His eyes were wide, a sign of hope was filled within his brown eyes when he heard his friend call out. "What?? Are you sure??"

Hana Kuriboh nodded and cried once more to the boy.

"A portal is opened. That is our chance to go rescue Johan! " He wiped his face free from the tears as he slid out of the bed, almost falling to the floor as he grabbed his huge bag hanging in the closet. He shoved everything he thought he would need for such a trip, recalling the other dimension they resided in. He packed clothes, some food, and other essentials. He had to prepare himself for whatever would be ready for him.

He slid his duel disk on his arm, placing his deck in his deck pouch on his belt. 'Johan...i will save you. I will do y best to do anything i can. I won't let anyone or anything stop me from getting you back...I won't let you suffer in that world. I will save you. Trust me...'

He spoke those words in his head as he headed for the door, opening it slowly as he looked back at his dorm room. 'I WILL get you back, Johan..' Were his last words before he closed the door behind him, hoping that he will save his friend, no matter what...
