It was raining. She should've known that the weather forecast was a blip an hour ago, but who was she kidding anyways? It's a force of nature, it's bound to happen any day of the week, month, or year. She sipped on her second cup of coffee, sitting comfortably on top of the kitchen counter. When she was about to set her cup back down beside her, the door to her room opened and out came her beloved husband.

Oh, wait, no. It wasn't just her room anymore. It was theirs. For three months now.

Shouto stumbled forward, their blanket tangled in his left foot. She couldn't help but grin at the sight.

"I smell coffee. Ochako, what time is it?" He asked, rubbing his eyes, drawing out any sleep from them. His wife dangled her feet off the counter and swayed them childishly as she looked at their clock.

"It's 12 in the afternoon, sleepyhead. Good afternoon, love."

"Good afternoon too, dear."

"Want some coffee? But, uh, care to fix the bed, love?" She gestured over to the blanket that was still hugging his foot.

Shouto shook his left foot, the blanket easily came off his foot and he picked it up easily. He folded their blanket neatly and retreated back, inside their room. Once setting their blanket on top of their bed, he walked outside to greet Ochako once again, the smell of coffee wafting through the air.

"About that question, yes, I would very much love a cup of coffee on this rainy afternoon." Ochako smiled, she hopped down the counter, hugged her husband, and proceeded to pour a cup of freshly brewed coffee for him.

She handed the steaming cup of coffee over to him and sat on top of the counter once more. Shouto took a small sip of his coffee and smiled. Black coffee, no added sweetner or milk, just the way he likes it.

There was a moment of silence that they both enjoyed, Ochako patted the seat in front of the counter and Shouto gladly sat down. She ran her hands through his hair and smiled lovingly at him. He sipped on his coffee once more, but paid more attention toward his wife. The rain from outside was the only sound they could hear, and Shouto felt warmth inside his veins, even in his other side.

It all felt, pretty domestic? And did it felt nice for him and her. Just the two of them, and no one else.

Then, the silence stopped, and she opened her mouth to talk.

"Oh, I almost forgot, I made pancakes earlier. Though they are burnt on the sides and a little cold now, I could heat it up if you'd like." She rested her head on top of his and kissed his forehead.

"No, I'm fine with coffee for now. We could always cook up something later." He suggested, and he could feel her nod her head a little. "Whatever you say, love."

"Did you have any plans, after the rain sets?" He asked her softly, and again, she nodded her head.

"I want ice cream, oh, and we need toothpaste." He smiled softly, he took one last sip of his cup and set it down right next to hers.

"It's cold, Ochako, and you want ice cream?" She pulled back and nodded her head fiercely, "I don't care if it's cold, Shouto. I want ice cream."

"You and your cravings." Shouto sighed, caving in to her requests. He'll buy her the biggest ice cream cone she could imagine. Only for her, he'll give the damn world.

"I want chocolate and strawberry, Shouto." She clasped her hands together and it made her float a little.

Shouto nodded, "I'll note that down, love."

—And so, the rain did set and the two made there way outside the dewy grass and misty air. Hand and hand together, Ochako bounced with delight at each step he takes and nothing could ever make Shouto any happier than the woman beside her.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

Oh my, I managed to squeeze this mess, even with my tight schedule. I'm out of control. I'm supposed to be writing a script for two plays, what are you doing, me?!

Oh well, ahahahahahahaha. I'm doomed.
