author's note: Happy fic! Teehee, I got really bored last night and couldn't sleep, so I started writing this. I know it's like uber short but whatever. I hope you like it ♥

Sora! Sora! Hey Sora! Wake up! The spiky haired boy woke up with a jolt and saw the blurred face of his friend Kairi.

"Ahah! I knew I'll find you sleeping down here! Just like old times" the girl said and smiled thinking of the day they were building the raft. It was only a year ago but it felt like forever. Kairi hold out her hand and reached out to help Sora up. "Come on Sora, we have homework to finish!" It has been a while since the day they all came back to Destiny Islands, and now that they're back, school has started again.

"Oh give me a break Kairi. All of this school work is depressing! I'll rather go out and fight some heartless or something," Sora said with a frown on his face. "And besides, I can just copy it off of Riku!" His frown broke away into a huge goofy grin. Kairi giggled.

"You can't copy his homework all of the time Sora. If we're tested over this, you won't be able to do it!"

"Don't worry Kairi, I was just kidding," Sora said while wrapping his two arms back behind his head, taking his usual stance. "Oh hey! Why don't we go to the secret place? We haven't been there in such a long time!"

"But, what about homewo--"

"I said not to worry about it right? Now, come on!" Sora grabbed Kairi's hand and started to walk toward the secret place. Right when Kairi arrived inside the cave Sora and another voice yelled out...

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAIRI!" The girl looked around and saw, the little cave was filled with streamers, ballons, and many more party decorations. The other voice was of course, Riku, who was sitting fown in the middle of the room with a cake in front of him. Kairi was really surprised. The whole time at school today, Sora and Riku didn't even acknowledge her birthday, and now she understood why.

"Sora! Riku! Aw, you guys are the best!" She exclaimed while looking around the room at all of the decorations. Sora went and hold up the cake right in front of her.

"Now! Make a wish before you blow out your candles!" Kairi reached out and hugged her two best friends.

"I already have the two greatest friends in the world! What more do I need?"
