Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Let The Battle Begin

It's a beautiful day at the Boxing Ring where today marks the start of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament and what a better way to kick off the tournament with a battle between two friendly rivals.

Xander Mobus came in to the announcer's booth and said, "Good afternoon, Smash fans! Welcome to the first match of the fifth tournament and it's called... SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE!"

The entire crowd cheered for Xander as the match is about to begin. Then he said, "I'm your announcer Xander Mobus and it's so good to be back here in the Boxing Ring for the first match of this ultimate tournament and we begin with a battle between two friends so, let's meet them!"

Just then, Ryu came in as Xander said, "First up, we have the Eternal Wanderer... RYU!"

The entire ring cheered for him as he entered the ring.

Xander smiled and said, "And facing off against him is The Fire-Breathing Fist... KEN!"

Just then, Ken came in as well with the crowd cheering for him.

Xander looked at them and said, "Well, it looks like we have a heated rivalry between these two warriors from Street Fighter and today, they'll battle as friends. For this opening match, there will be 3 stocks and only one item and that is the Smash Ball. Use it to unleash your Final Smash. Now, take your places."

Ryu came to Ken and said, "Well, this is it. The first match of the tournament and no matter what happens here, just have fun. Ready to fight, buddy?"

"You got it, Ryu," Ken replied with a thumbs up, "Let's do this!"

Xander Mobus smiled and said, "Ryu and Ken... ARE YOU READY?"

"Ready!" Ryu and Ken replied at the same time.

"Alright, then. Here we go! Three..."

Both fighters assume their battle stances.

"Two..."

The entire arena grew very silent.

"One..."

It all comes down to this, the first match of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate is about to begin. Xander Mobus took a deep breath, waited for a few seconds and then...

It is time.

"GO!"

With the word shouted, Ryu and Ken took off at the same time with the crowd making a huge cheer. Xander smiled and said, "And we are officially underway as Ryu and Ken used their Hadoken against each other. This is going to be... ULTIMATE!"

And with that, the fifth tournament has begun.
