First 2 Broke Girls Fanfic :D

It's a very quiet evening at Max's Homemade Cupcake. Caroline was just selling the last cupcake of the day to a couple. "Thanks!" the couple said as they handed her the money for the cupcake and walked off. Max looked at the window and called out loudly with a smile. "You're welcome and please come again. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell everyone about these amazing cupcakes!"

"Okay, don't oversell it, Oprah," Max said as she pulled Caroline back inside. "Come on Max, lighten up will you? I'm just jazzing up the place so we won't fall short" Caroline explained to her.

"We are waitresses, who share the same apartment with a horse and a boss, who's the height of a table leg. So don't tell me that we won't come up short" Max told her. Caroline couldn't help but laugh at this outburst. Max then added "And if you want to jazz it up, just call up Earl. He invented it.". Caroline smiles as she dismisses Max's over-dramatics. "Well, I'm finished Max"

"Oh really? I was just getting started" Max joked lightly. "Funny. Now come on, you know how I feel walking in the dark on the streets" Caroline said. Max puts her hands up as she says to Caroline. "Don't worry Princess, I'll just call my trusted steed to come and get us" Caroline was touched by this gesture. "Aww Max, you talking about Chestnut?" Max smiled at her and said "Nope, Oleg"

Caroline had to process this for a moment. It was then she pick up on Max's sarcasm and quickly reconsider her choices.

"I think I will be fine walking," Caroline said, trying to get her mind off Oleg coming over here.

Max laughs as she takes the money from the jar to her purse.

"But seriously, if something happens to us. I got two weapons." Max assured the wording blond.

"Max! You have weapons on you?! What are they, a gun and knife?" Caroline exclaimed.

Max looked at her like she was crazy. "I wish. Those got taking away by the police when I was holding up Chuck E. Cheese when I was 18 because some kids tried to take my tickets!"

Caroline didn't know how to respond to this. But, she wasn't surprised by it because it's coming from Max. Max then continue on saying "But no, what I got are my double D's and you" She then pointed to her boobs and Caroline.

Caroline gave her a confuse look as Max took her by her hand and went to the door.
