A/N: Okay so this is just a short one shot, I doubt I'll get any reviews. It was just for fun, I really wanted to write something using the "I miss you, Daddy" letter from 9-11 for some reason, I think because I've been studying it recently, so I wrote it as if Chris had a daughter and it's the yearly anniversary of him traveling to the past! Okay, I don't own either the song or Charmed! Enjoy (And DON"T flame please!)
****Anything in Italic is the actual speech/letter
****Anything in bold is thought not said
****Anything regular is said aloud
"It's been a year, daddy," The little girl sat starring at the triquetra drawn in chalk on the wall. "I really, really miss you."
"Gabby, are you in here?" The voice trailed down the hall.
"Mommy says your safe now, in a beautiful place called 2004." She turned to meet Bianca, and was brought into the dinning room. "We had your favorite dinner tonight."
"Don't forget to eat your carrots,"
"I ate it all up, all done, mommy! Even though I don't like carrots." She skipped to the window to stare out of it. "I learned how to swim this summer. I can even open my eyes, while I'm underwater!"
"Where'd you go?" Bianca opened the door to the living room.
"Can't you see me?" She looked up at the sky.
"There you are! We never got to talk about your day, how was school?"
"I started kindergarten this year." She hugged her mom. "I carry a picture of us in my Blue's Clues lunchbox!"
"Did you play on the playground during recess?"
"You are the greatest daddy… I can swing on the swing by myself!"
"You're growing up so fast!"
"Even though I miss you pushing me. Can't you see me?" She giggled as Bianca started tickling her. "I miss how you used to tickle me. Tickle my belly! My belly hurts,"
"I love you, sweety,"
"Mommy I miss daddy, I try not to cry." She admits, a tear running down her cheek. "Mommy says…"
"It's okay," She petted her hair.
"I know you don't like it when I cry," The girl pouts. "You never wanted me to be sad. I try, Daddy, but it hurts."
"I know, honey, I miss him, too." She wipes the tears off of the baby girls' face.
"Is it true you're not coming home tonight? Maybe someday, I can visit! You in the past, okay?"
"Come on, let's get you to bed," Bianca picked her up and started walking them down the hall.
"It's time for me to go to bed, now? Can I sleep with the light on? Just in case you come home and kiss me good night. I love you so much," She says as Bianca kisses her forehead. "I miss you, daddy."
