From the tumblr prompt: I went to a forest to bury a body but somebody was already there burying one. ~ randomfandomstuff
My name is Bonnie Jo Winterberg. I live in Seattle. A man cut me in line. I got angry. I followed him to the back alley and I killed another person. That makes 11 total. I am sane. He was rude. He deserves what he got.
Bonnie kept repeating this to herself as she got into her car and drove to the Forest of Souls. This was her first time using the forest as a dump site. She usually scattered the remains in the ocean or buried them under the bodies of diseased dogs. But this time, she felt like doing something different.
The road up to Mount Rainier was bumpy but not so bad that it made the body roll around to much. Sometimes when she was going up hill she could hear the thump it made when it hit the back of her car. Every time the body did, she would smile.
Bonnie's GPS said, "The destination is on your right." Bonnie slowed her car down. Yes, she thought. This place is perfect. Lots of trees, very desolate. This will do. She pulled over to the side where the light barely shown and hide her car behind a few trees. When she got out of the car, she opened the trunk. Good, the body is still secure in the trash bag. No blood stains. Perfect!
Bonnie couldn't believe how well this was going. Her first time, she had quite a mess to clean up. She put on her nylon gloves and pulled the man from her car. She dragged his body about a mile before she heard a shovel hitting the ground in a steady rhythm.
Oh good, she thought. Two-in-one. Bonnie made her way towards the noise, the body of the man almost completely forgotten about. There, in the middle of a small clearing, was a tall, handsome man digging a hole. Bonnie was so perplexed by the man that she almost didn't see the crumpled trash bag sitting next to him.
Before Bonnie could stop herself, she said, "Why are you dumping a body here? This is my dump site!"
The man looked up from his work, his lean muscles tightening when he heard her voice. He looked even more handsome and rugged from the front. His jaw clenched when he saw Bonnie.
When he spoke his voice came out deep and bewildered, "What are you talking about, your site? I've been dumping bodies here since 10th grade!"
Bonnie couldn't help it. All she could think was you're beautiful. The man looked at her and said, "You're not so bad yourself."
Realization hit Bonnie like a brick. "Oh god. Did I say that out loud? Shit!"
The man looked at her with a smirk. "Let's make a deal. You can use this site, as long as I get to have a date with you."
Bonnie was stund. She thought this man was going to give her a run for her money. Before she could even comprehend what she was saying, Bonnie blurted out, "Sure."
His face lite up with joy. He nodded to where she came from. "So, how many have you killed so far?"
"Including tonight, eleven. You?"
He laughed. "This is my number eleven, too."
They exchanged numbers and Bonnie saw his contact information. "Clyde? Wow. That's ironic."
"Why?"
"My name is Bonnie." Oh, this is gonna be fun, she thought.
