I am frozen still

escape

No physical means
to hold me here

some emotion
Some feeling that can't quite be explained
Fear,
anxiety, anticipation
Reluctance, wanting, needing
Disgust,
lust, love
I still stay here, motionless as you move forward
Your
form ever nearer, ever clearer
I do not know what to expect
Your
eyes do not betray the answer
They stare, transfixed
A thick
grey wall of storm in pure pearl white
There is now but a breath
between us
And in this closeness, I am held captive
