A/N: I was reading Kurosora1984's The Drabble Series and this gave me an idea. Why note write drabbles based on songs that come up on shuffle? I know this is a taggy thingy, but I'm doing an unlimited amount, for kicks. Now, some of them are "Drabbles" that is, really short stories but longer than 100 words. Some of them are Drabbles, actual 100 word drabbles. This particular one is 152 words, but I'm calling it a drabble because it is really really short.

It was only a little mangy thing on the side of the road.
It hardly looked like a cat at all. And the smell? Forget about it. But there was something about it that made Shilo pick it up.
Maybe it reminded her of herself, lost, alone and so naive. Well, she didn't know, but she scooped it up and carried it down the street.
"Phew...you really are a smelly little thing, aren't you?"
She said, holding it against her chest. The cat, seeming to notice her distaste, let out a sad little meow.
"Hey, it's okay. It's not your fault. Look at you, you haven't seen a vet in who knows how long, and who knows what you've had to eat?
Don't worry, little one. Shilo will take you home and fix you up. Get you checked out, get you some food. It's going to be okay" And it was.
