It was a particularly bad day. Nico di Angelo sat by the window in his small apartment he shared with his boyfriend, Will Solace. The rain always brought back memories of all the people he missed and would do anything for.

His sister, Bianca, had died a few years ago because of a car crash while she was drunk with a few friends. Percy, Nico's first crush, was there and Nico blamed him for not helping. In reality, there was nothing Percy could do to save her. She was already too far gone. Nico knows that now.

Every drop of rain hit the window with a steady thrum. Nico was so enticed by it that he didn't hear the door creek open, signaling his boyfriend's arrival.

Will knew Nico had a hard time with rain, so today he got off of work early to cheer him up. Will could see Nico sitting on the edge of the bed watching the rain as if it was a monster about to eat him alive.

Will walked slowly up to Nico's small, nimble form and gently caressed him from behind. Sometimes Nico was so perplexed by the rain that it was as if he was in a haze and couldn't tell that Will was even there. Nico's short intake of breath was all Will needed to know his boyfriend was okay.

"How you feeling, Sunshine?"

"I'm fine. I was just thinking about my sister," Nico looked away from the window and gave Will a sad smile.

"Aw, Sweetie, I know you miss her. Do you want to watch a movie or we could just sit here and cuddle...?"

Nico looked at Will, kissed him, and said, "Cuddling would be nice and don't call me Sweetie."

Will pulled Nico to their bed and wrapped his large, tan arms around the small, pale boy's figure.

"I love you, you know that?" Will whispered into Nico's ear.

Nico smiled, "Yeah. I love you, too."
